Here is an article illustrating that newly minted NDP leader Jagmeet Singh is political dead meat even before an election! It`s what happens when you follow LIE-beral values! As for |Our idiot Boy Justin- the latest polls show he would \L|OSE an election held today! And that is BEFORE we start counting the cost of his stupid trade war with Trump! Our idiot Boy could have avoided the fiscal hit simply by recognizing that a lot of people on both sides of thd birder are nervous about Muslim terror- with good reason! Jagmeet Singh, the Trudeau Liberals’ new best friend

From Mark Bonokoski. Published: January 5, 2018. Updated: January 6, 2018 6:19 PM EST

Filed Under: Toronto SUN/ Opinion/ Columnists

EDITORIAL: Toronto can't solve homeless crisis on its own
WALLACE: Business and insurance companies Wynne big with free drugs
GOLDSTEIN: Trudeau doesn’t understand nature of evil

Even as the last gasps of the year wheezed from the lungs of 2017, NDP leader Jagmeet Singh was already a spent political force.

Actually, “force” is too strong a word. He’s more of a spent thought.

With four recent byelections seeing federal NDP support sink even lower than the wading-pool depths of 2015, it is becoming more apparent that average Canadians are not quite ready yet to embrace the new NDP leader, even one as photogenic, flashy and fluently bilingual in both official languages as the non-MP from Toronto.

Yes, there’s that, too. Singh doesn’t have a seat in the House of Commons and seems to see no reason yet to seek one.

And, then there is that not-so-forgotten clip following his leadership victory when Jagmeet Singh would not categorically denounce the Sikh extremism still lying within Canada that bombed Air India Flight 182 out of the sky in 1985.

(Jagmeet is a typical loonie leftie politician- trying to hunt with the hounds and run with the hare- so to speak. His evasive duplicity on the subject of Sikh extremists will NOT serve him well on a world stage - as Our idiot Boy Justin has discovered during his disastrous India trip! Indian govt is at daggers drawn with Sikhs and Jagmeet will simply fan the flames higher with his dangerous and entirely hypocrite values!)

Such non-committal over something so cowardly and criminal tends to make ordinary folks more than just a little wary, and possibly even a little suspect of one’s primary allegiances.

When the CBC’s Terry Milewski asked Singh if he would condemn the current glorification of the bombers within certain segments of the Sikh community — with heroic adulation being expressed in posters — Singh condemned the question but avoided the answer.

As he described it later, “I think it was definitely some sort of clear problematic line of thought behind that question,” he said. “It was offensive to me that that was even a question.”

(Oh sure- nuclear armed India is in a military standoff with nuclear armed Pakistan and also with Sikh terrorists adding to the tension- and Sikh Jagmeet Singh- with his not so subtle support of Sikh extremists along with his desire to be our prime minister cannot see why we ought to be uneasy with his values? How big a hypocrite is he really?)

Those who rallied to Singh’s defence claimed two things. One, that Air India was old news. And that, two, the same question would not have been asked of Justin Trudeau or Tom Mulcair.

If Trudeau or Mulcair were Sikhs, the same question would have definitely been asked of them as it was of Singh.

Air India, its main perpetrators never charged, is not something that has an expiry date simply because 32 years have passed.

(This IS standard leftist habit- hoping we have short memories and will forget much that ought to be remembered- and held against them! Recently Jagmeet told us he was in favour of “tax fairness” and wanted to spend big on infrastructure- without going to the trouble of telling us WHERE the money would come from? Should we assume that Jagmeet plans to introduce a national version of the notorious RAE DAYS that so devastated Ontari-owe? And does Jagmeet not understand that his opponent- the idiot Boy Justin has ALREADY claimed that insane tax and spend and borrow till they ban you position? Muddle headed Jag is offering us a choice between mad LIE-beral spending and really mad NDP spending! Civil service Hogs who think the entire world belongs to them WILL be pleased! Too bad it looks as if ordinary Cdns are about to come out en masse to demonstrate their rage with vote buying LIE-berals- and NDPers may get caught up too! )

Some 329 people, including 268 Canadian citizens, were killed in that bombing, so the question asked by Milewski was legit.

Let’s not forget, too, that Conservative leader Andrew Scheer was critically questioned about the depth of his Roman Catholicism, and how it would affect his policy decisions.

Jagmeet Singh’s quick descent from the new-age heir to Jack Layton’s mantle to a spent political thought could not be worse news for the Conservatives, or better news for the Trudeau Liberals.

The prime minister spent the last days of 2017 flapping around like a flounder, meeting with alleged terror captive Joshua Boyle, offering in one year-end interview that ISIS returnees will somehow contribute to Canadianism, and then embarrassingly fumbling over an answer to questions about his historic guilt regarding ethics breaches.

(Given known Turdope family hostility to what papa Pierre called “Cdn imperialism” it is a safe bet that Our idiot Boy really believes returning Isis fighters will help......HIM!)

If the Liberals were worried the NDP would be eating into their leftist ethos, thereby splitting the progressive vote in 2019, then their worries are over.

It’s Jagmeet Singh to their rescue.

If there is a time for Singh to shine, it’s when the Commons returns at January’s end. The Liberals are bogged down in mud, and the prime minister’s ethics convictions will be atop the oppositions’ playlist.

(Face it- Jagmeet is not just yesterdays man- even before he became NDP leader- he is also the man who never was and never will be KING!)

Yet there will be no Jagmeet Singh in Question Period to display what the NDP faithful and lefty swing voters hope will be a well-tuned, quick-of-wit politician brimming with charisma and confidence.

(Singh appears to be playing a careful game here- He apparently holds views that make LIE-berals look halfway sane- with Singh not wanting the general public to get a close look at him- and hoping that the Cdn “Middle Class” that has NOT gotten the shower of gravy promised by LIE-berals may turn to him in frustration! In short we can probably count on NDPers NOT to tell us their full party platform- they hunt with the hounds and run with the hare! And NDPers wonder why we don’t trust them to lead us! HAHAHAHA!!!! We expect politicians to exaggerate- we do NOT expect them to spend the entire day spinning political policy yarns! )

Singh may think he is ready, but he’s not showing it.

If he were, he would have been champing at the bit to run in the first byelection that came up, not lying in the weeds.

The Commons’ next session is going to be a hot one.

But Singh won’t be sitting in.

Trudeau's carbon scheme already a $16 billion failure

From Lorrie Goldstein. Published: January 3, 2018. Updated: January 3, 2018 5:47 PM EST

Filed Under: Toronto SUN/ Opinion/ Columnists

EDITORIAL: Trudeau showed lousy judgment
MALCOLM: 'Deprogram' radical Islamists. How?
BONOKOSKI: The curious case of Boyle and Trudeau

Ottawa and the provinces will rake in more than $16 billion from carbon pricing between 2018 and 2020, while failing to achieve the Trudeau government’s 2020 greenhouse gas reduction target.

My $16 billion estimate — the bulk of which will be paid by Canadians in higher taxes and prices for most goods and services — is a conservative one.

(As I have stated before- LIE-berals have issued hundreds of billions of dollars in pension IOU`s to civil service union Hogs in exchange for their votes. It is truly a vast conflict of interest - yet as we see- LIE-berals CANNOT survive without it! Unfortunately our economy CANNOT survive any serious LIE-beral effort to honour their insane promises to Hogs! The $16 billion LIE-berals have collected in carbon crap and trade tax is simply a SMALL drop in a very big bucket! Even adding in the billions that Ontari-owe LIE-berals have taken by turning our electrical system into a giant Hog slush fund makes little real difference- the promises made to Hogs are UNPRECEDENTED in history!)

It doesn’t factor in the full financial impact of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s mandatory minimum national carbon price of $10 per tonne of emissions, which kicked in Jan. 1, rising to $50 per tonne in 2022.

(So an increase of 500 percent in 4 years- so much for the govt target of 2 percent inflation! The cost of EVERYTHING will soar- and LIE-berals will be hiding their VAST pay raises inside that gigantic carbon slush fund! Ontari-owe LIE-berals have already show us the future with their 2018 so called balanced budget that uses accounting methods never taught by any reputable school to hide a major deficit! Such lies will become the norm if not strongly challenged!)

Meanwhile, the Trudeau government has already conceded in its recent report to the United Nations under the Paris climate accord, that Canada won’t achieve Trudeau’s target of reducing emissions to 17% below 2005 levels by 2020.

(Our idiot Boy is not worried about our carbon failure because it will give him the chance to shower money on third world dictators- the socialist ones he prefers over elected western leaders! Carbon crap and trade scam is all about social engineering and enabling LIE-berals to discreetly reward loathsome pals! Its why Oir idiot Boy restored Cdn funding to terror group Hamas- in his twisted world view Muslim terrorists are more “legitimate” somehow than beleaguered Jews! Our idiot Boy is dedicated to his fathers goal- to destroy what papa Pierre called “Cdn Imperialism- which apparently translates into hate for English speakers and white people generally!)

That would require Ottawa to reduce Canada’s current emissions of 722 megatonnes annually (based on 2015 figures, the latest available) to 613 megatonnes by 2020, or by 109 megatonnes.

Reducing Canada’s emissions by 109 megatonnes annually (a megatonne equals one million tonnes) by 2020, would mean the equivalent of shutting down Canada’s entire electricity sector (79 megatonnes of annual emissions) plus 41% of the agriculture sector (73 megatonnes of annual emissions), in three years.

Simply put, that’s impossible.

(And would cause massive riots across Canada if LIE-berals even made a small start on such economic madness! One has only to look at the Ontari-owe LIE-beral troubles over their electricity price gouging on behalf of provincial Hogs!)

In 2018 alone, Ottawa and the provinces will rake in at least $5.4 billion in revenue from carbon taxes and cap and trade, a carbon tax by another name.

This figure is based on revenue estimates from the four provinces — Ontario, Alberta, B.C. and Quebec — that have already imposed carbon pricing, a federal estimate of revenues from carbon pricing in the six provinces that haven’t yet set a carbon price but must do so this year, plus Ottawa’s share of carbon pricing revenues from the GST.

Ontario will take in about $1.8 billion from carbon pricing in 2018, Alberta $1.04 billion, B.C. $1.19 billion and Quebec $545 million.

According to Parliamentary Budget Officer Jean-Denis Frechette, Ottawa will take in between $236 million and $267 million in carbon pricing revenues during the 2017-18 fiscal year in the four provinces that have already imposed it, because of the GST, and between $265 million and $313 million in the 2018-19 fiscal year.

Finally, according to a secret federal finance department memo obtained by Blacklock’s Reporter, “energy consumers in provinces without a legislated carbon tax will pay at least $600 million in higher fuel costs” in 2018, with the imposition of Trudeau’s mandatory minimum carbon price of $10 per tonne, rising substantially in future years as the mandatory minimum price increases.

(Thanks to HST/GST the carbon crap and trade is now a tax on a tax- and nothing but a cash grab that only cleans wallets and leaves the crap in the air! Our carbon emissions are actually still going UP!)

Most of the estimated $5.4 billion cost of carbon pricing in 2018, and the $16 billion cumulative cost from 2018 to 2020, will be paid by Canadians in higher taxes and prices for most goods and services, although B.C. has historically lowered other taxes to offset revenues from its carbon tax and Alberta’s carbon tax is partially offset by tax reductions for small business and full rebates to about 60% of provincial households.

The ultimate cost faced by Canadians in the six provinces that haven’t yet set a carbon price will depend on the outcome of negotiations with Ottawa.

But the bottom line is Canadians are now paying billions of dollars annually for government carbon pricing schemes that will not achieve Trudeau’s emission reduction targets for 2020, or for that matter, 2030.

(LIE-berals do not want to discuss the truth here- that their carbon crap and trade scam is based on the fraud riddled European model- full of forged carbon credits, stock market swindles and manipulation by organized crime!)

Fresno State professor Randa Jarrar cancelled a weekend speaking gig following blowback from her bitter Barbara Bush tweet.

Just within the past week or so, some shocking professorial behaviour has come to light. In the wake of Barbara Bush’s death, California State University, Fresno professor Randa Jarrar took to Twitter to call the former first lady an “amazing racist.” Jarrar added, “PSA: either you are against these pieces of s— and their genocidal ways or you’re part of the problem. that’s actually how simple this is. I’m happy the witch is dead. can’t wait for the rest of her family to fall to their demise the way 1.5 million iraqis have. byyyeeeeeeee.”

(Oh real class there! But so typical of LIE-berals! Their jubilation when Conservative finance minister Jim Flaherty died young was classic CRASS and total LOW CLASS!)

In New Jersey, Brookdale Community College professor Howard Finkelstein, in a heated exchange, was captured on video telling a conservative student, “F— your life!” At the City University of New York School of Law, students shouted down guest lecturer Josh Blackman for 10 minutes before he could continue his remarks. When Duke University president Vincent Price was trying to address alumni, students commandeered the stage, shouting demands and telling him to leave.

(We should perhaps acknowledge how utterly frustrated LIE-berals are now that ALL their polices are falling into UTTER DISGRACE! Their disappointment and embarrassment are palpable and DESTRUCTIVE forces in the world!)

None of this professorial and student behaviour is new at the nation’s colleges. It’s part of the leftist agenda that dominates our colleges. A new study by Brooklyn College professor Mitchell Langbert — “Homogeneous: The Political Affiliations of Elite Liberal Arts College Faculty” — demonstrates that domination. By the way, Academic Questions is a publication of the National Association of Scholars, an organization fighting the leftist propaganda in academia.

(The really disturbing thing about the LIE-beral position is they intend to “win” any debate or discussion with CENSORSHIP! You cannot really win a debate by HIDING Facts and logic!)

Langbert examines the political affiliation of PhD-holding faculty members at 51 of the 66 top-ranked liberal arts colleges according to U.S. News & World Report. He finds that 39% of the colleges in his sample are Republican-free — with zero registered Republicans on their faculties. As for Republicans within academic departments, 78% of those departments have no Republican members or so few as to make no difference.

(It was the British Labour Party that apparently pioneered the idea of getting their people into the school system to indoctrinate students! The idea has clearly spread across the planet and been quite successful- as long as the kids remain in the hot house school atmosphere! The problem appears when the kids go out into the real world and get exposed to things BEYOND LIE-beral censorship control! One reason for the Doug Ford win can be attributed to the number of college kids struggling with student debt- thus they now see CLEARLY the poisoned nature of LIE-beral spending and shameless vote buying!)

Langbert breaks down the faculty Democrat-to-Republican ratio by academic department, and there are not many surprises. Engineering departments have 1.6 Democrats for every Republican. Chemistry and economics departments have about 5.5 Democrats for every Republican. The situation is especially bad in anthropology departments, where the Democrat-to-Republican faculty ratio is 133-to-1, and in communications departments, where the ratio is 108-to-zero. Langbert says, “I could not find a single Republican with an exclusive appointment to fields like gender studies, Africana studies, and peace studies.”

(This stuff dovetails with similar anti leftie comments by U of T professor and clinical psychologist Jordan Peterson! The study of economics is not one of the fuzzy humanities but personal bias makes for a selective and subjective reaction to policies- one has only to think of Rhodes scholar and former Toronto mayor David Miller who knows lots about spending money AND knows nothing about where it comes from or how it is earned or why out of control debt is Bad!)

Later on in the study, Langbert turns his attention to Democrat-to-Republican faculty ratios at some of our most elite colleges. At Williams College, the Democrat-to-Republican ratio is 132-to-1. At Amherst College, it’s 34-to-1. Wellesley’s is 136-to-1. At Swarthmore, 120-to-1. Claremont McKenna, 4-to-1. Davidson, 10-to-1. Only two colleges of the top 66 on U.S. News & World Report’s 2017 list have a modicum of equality in numbers between Democratic and Republican faculty members. They are the U.S. Military Academy, aka West Point, with a Democrat-to-Republican ratio of 1.3-to-1, and the U.S. Naval Academy, whose ratio is 2.3-to-1.

(It is clear that those who cannot “do” in the real world will turn to teaching!)

Many professors spend class time indoctrinating students with their views. For faculty members who are Democrats, those views can be described as leftist, socialist or communist. It is a cowardly act for a professor to take advantage of student immaturity by indoctrinating pupils with his opinions before the students have developed the maturity and skill to examine other opinions. It is also dereliction of duty of college administrators and boards of trustees to permit the continuance of what some professors and students are doing in the name of higher education.

(It is also a GROSS CONFLICT of interest considering how much govt tax money colleges and universities get in Canada! LIE-berals BUY civil service union Hog votes with gobs of gravy- while enslaving students into debt with rip off OSAP loans to pay for the gravy- while professors abuse their position by spewing propaganda at the kids about how good a govt deal they are getting!)

Langbert’s findings suggest biases in college research and academic policy, where leftist political homogeneity is embedded in the college culture. The leftist bias at most of the nation’s colleges is in stark contrast to the political leanings of our nation. According to a number of Pew Research Center surveys, most Americans identify as conservative.

(An example of bias would be the women` studies groups who have arbitrarily re-defined the crimes of spousal abuse and rape in order to make social conditions LOOK more severe than they are- according to author Christina Hoff- Somers in her book “Who Stole Feminism”? Hoff Somers documents a shameless manipulation of statistics by Feminazi FAKES who are seeking govt grants for problems THEY have created by faking number and altering definitions- without bothering to admit their fakery to anybody !)

These Americans are seeing their tax dollars and tuition dollars going to people who have contempt for their values and seek to indoctrinate their children with leftist ideas.

Walter E. Williams is a professor of economics at George Mason University.

(The war against FAILED LIE-beral policy goes on!)
