I live in a multiple dwelling residence where parcel delivery is easy. Now we here of drone delivery to individual residence. I can't see it happening successfully.

They parachute them directly into your driveway.
It's the same method that Storks use when they deliver babies.

i see it more as a rural thing than an urban thing.
would seem to be a good answer to deliveries to remote areas.

Perhaps rural locations and villages are the target, City dwelling critters are within walking distance of a mailbox and other services already.

This can be done by all the big fat MNCs but there are many drawbacks in that. Like what if it suddenly it rains, or battery drains out, what if the wrong person picks up the parcel and so on.
