“In our study, an increasing number of days to border closures was associated with a higher caseload, and more restrictive public health measures (such as a full lockdown compared to partial or curfew only measures) were associated with an increase in the number of recovered cases per million population,” the researchers reported. “These findings suggest that more restrictive public health practices may indeed be associated with less transmission and better outcomes.”

Schools are opening in Alberta in September as of right now. It will be up to the parents as to whether or not they allow their kids to attend.

Dude, where do you learn to think like this? Have you no children of your own??

Parents and teachers are gravely concerned about the health and well being of the children. It has **** all to do with progressives.

Actual quote from that opinion piece:

"Why else would Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear allow liquor stores to stay open but close down churches?"

That may have something to do with thousands of hardcore alcoholics not having access to alcohol, and flooding the Hospitals with people with the DT's and seizures.

Geeze do American right wing news publications actually have staff with an IQ over 80?

The unions aren't in power in Alberta. The UCP is. If it was up to the unions, the ndp would still be in power. In fact, the UCP has enacted legislation that requires unions to get permission from its members to use membership dues for political purposes. The majority of union members, in Alberta, have approved of this legislation. So, again, the unions don't run alberta.

The way the UCP has run this province in the past year, I actually miss the NDP.

I am no NDP fan either. I miss the glory days of Ralph Klein.

Ya, but there are not potentially 100's of people or more, sitting close together in a liquor store, either.

You have zero medical knowledge, or are completely oblivious to the effects on the body of an alcoholic going cold turkey. Only a small percentage of COVID patients would be hospitalized if a church outbreak occurred. If 100 hard drinkers stop suddenly, most of them would be in the Hospital within 48 hours. Some would die if not treated.

Simple, dont hospitalize and let nature and darwinism take its course. One drinks alcohol by choice.

I was just riffing off of these oldies...

Q: How do you quickly herd 100's of cows into a confined area?

A: Put up a Bingo sign.

Q: How do you stop the influx of Mexicans at the U.S. border?

A: Put up Help Wanted signs.
