Why a Saharan Dust Storm Is Heading for the United States

If things couldn't get any weirder in 2020??

In what appears to be the latest biblical plague of 2020, a nearly 4,000-mile-long dust storm from the Sahara Desert is currently headed toward the southeastern coast of the United States.

This is a fairly regular event. Good news it will keep hurricane formation down during its transit.

I didn't think that a dust storm could fly so far (across the ocean). First time I ever heard of this. I thought usually dust flies a few meters maybe and that's it. I guess it could fly huge distances.
