Rogers speed cut in half

I think it might be a good thing that Rogers has cut the speed in half... It makes life harder for abusers. I've found that downloads are faster and I can use in general more bandwidth... Probably because the folks who are using all the bandwidth they have at their disposal have less network resources to use because its cut in half.

Dont look at it as such a bad thing... Because its really not. Since when have you EVER experiences 3mbits/second? Probably never.

I never experienced 3mb a second but I could at least get around 2.4mb a sec. Now with this cap I'm lucky if I get 1.2mb a sec. Also the upload speed is bad. I used to get 365kbps, now i'm lucky if I get over 180kbps.

Your download speed : 2907559 bps, or 2907 kbps.
A 354.9 KB/sec transfer rate.
Your upload speed : 668970 bps, or 668 kbps.
Seems like broadband .. above the 1mbit barrier!
