The state party chair called what happened unacceptable and said officials are continuing to go through the process to get the results out.

The US "elections" have been suspect since the chad mess .......and getting worse...... Possible outside interference?? Noto ut of the question. and with a shyster like Trump at the helm..........and with his Russian cronies.......
How hard would it be to sew a little confusion by hacking a new app??. If one has the right contacts. This whole thing is just too big and too strange....

News reports have it Mayor Pete and Hitlary invested heavily in the firm that created the app. what's that say about the results?

Buttigieg campaign paid firm that developed voting app blamed for Iowa caucus delays

So I guess we know who Hitlary is supporting

97%? Thatís a familiar percentage. Is this a solid 97% consensus (as in the debate is over) Just like the predicted win for Hilary Clinton in the last US Federal election???

I think Iowa shows that the party is sick of moderate candidates.

Biden consistently polls number one in the general public but in Iowa with the party members he is 4th.

Although the full results are still unknown the information they have released puts Bernie and Buttigieg well ahead followed closely by Warren.

Biden is tailing by quite a bit - under 15%

It looks like the radical left is fighting it out with the centrists and the centrists are going with Mayor Pete instead of Biden.

Buttigieg narrowly holds lead in Iowa caucuses with 97 percent of precincts reporting

26.2% support for Pete and 26.1% for Bernie with 97% of the results in, interesting eh OB?

I am surprised that Pete beat Bernie. Of course Bernie supporters are saying that Pete stole the caucus and that Bernie is the real winner. Ahhhh... Bernie Bros... I love em'!

On the other hand... I expected Sander's supporters to really get out there and caucus. With all the youth, unions, and energy they appear to be missing. I am thinking Bernie may be a paper tiger.

'Clog the lines': Internet trolls deliberately disrupted the Iowa caucuses hotline for reporting results

The phone number to report Iowa caucus results was posted on a fringe internet message board on Monday night along with encouragement to clog the lines, an indication that jammed phone lines that left some caucus managers on hold for hours may have in part been due to prank calls.

Several officials at caucuses attended by NBC News reporters on the Vote Watch team struggled with lengthy hold times that made it impossible for them to report results.

An Iowa Democratic Party official said the influx of calls to the reporting hotline included supporters of President Trump who called to express their displeasure with the Democratic Party.

any guesses as to what party these cloggers belong to.. ......but heck.....anything goes now.........all that matters is the win......It doesn't matter how.

They are also saying new security asked to be added to the app within 48 hours of the caucus maybe the cause for the fail

More Democrat excuses. The Democrat Party never takes responsibility for them screwing up everything they touch.

They fell flat on their face in Iowa and now they are trying to blame Republicans. Not surprised at all.

The Democrats have to blame someone. The Democrats have to create fake news. If the Democrats do not perpetually blame others for their constant bumbling and failures their sheep will leave for other pastures. They are completely inept.

Buttigieg won the most Iowa delegates to the Democratic National Convention, with Sanders close behind, state party says

The Iowa Democratic Party late Sunday released a statement projecting that Pete Buttigieg would win 14 delegates to the national nominating convention and that Bernie Sanders would win 12. The announcement comes after a week of counting by state party officials, who have come under fire for their handling of the caucuses.

It took them so long because they were busy fudging the numbers to keep Bernie out.
