It's something to do with *him". He rants and rails that no one will give him the Nobel Peace Prize for all of his marvellous deeds. Perhaps, he thinks that the World will see him as a peacemaker, now so that he can collect "his" award..

Iran Unveils Kit to Turn Artillery Rockets Into Guided Missiles – Report

The system was introduced alongside a number of other armaments and was officially delivered to the Iranian armed forces during the presentation.

Iran unveiled a number of new armaments last week, including a light armored personnel carrier, a network-connected robot and a conversion kit which can turn artillery rockets into precision-guided missiles, a Jane’s report says.
The conversion kit, called the ‘Labeik’, was presented in an event attended by General Mohammad Hossein Dadras, deputy commander of the regular military and Brigadier General Kioumars Heidar, the ground forces commander, the report says.

Thanks CC. The article is a very good psychological profile of trump........from a military stand point. It is well done with real examples. It captures the important components...as related to the military, security and international relations.
from the article:
I. HE DISDAINS EXPERTISE
II. HE TRUSTS ONLY HIS OWN INSTINCTS
Trump believes that his gut feelings about things are excellent, if not genius. Those around him encourage that belief, or they are fired. Winning the White House against all odds may have made it unshakable.
III. HE RESISTS COHERENT STRATEGY
III. HE RESISTS COHERENT STRATEGY
IV. “HE IS REFLEXIVELY CONTRARY”
V. HE HAS A SIMPLISTIC AND ANTIQUATED NOTION OF SOLDIERING
Though he disdains expert advice, Trump reveres—perhaps fetishizes—the military
**********
His disdain for experts is probably based on the fact they are a threat to him. He seems to believe that he knows everything......(unstable non-genius) If he does not know it.....he makes it up. We have all seen and heard him do it.
His most recent self descriptor........: ( UNMATCHED WISDOM) about withdrawing troops.(Syria)
now in laypersons terms: the bloke is a lunatic. who has NO idea of the consequences of his behavior. and does not care........unless it affects HIM personally. He does make most things personal to himself........

Good question. We get synthetic Fentanyl flooding in from the People's Republic of China ... presumably revenge on the round eyes for the Opium Wars.

Whatever the current administration does is incorrect, and if they change course midstream that is down right wrong .

Are the Kurds still a UN listed terrorist organization? I don't agree with it and the UN should step in and calm the waters where are they? Why criticize the US for doing the same as the rest of the coalition did?

Who are the Kurds? A Middle Eastern people with 'no friends but the mountains'

Of course not. It is HOW Donald is doing it. He is doing it impulsively........and with little consideration for the negative consequences the departure will have. Each situation is different and has to be evaluated on its own merit. The problem is that trump dose not listen to anyone but his own "instincts" He does not operate on logic and facts but relies on his" instincts"...........as if they are a barometer for good judgement .or fact based They are NOT....... they are just primal emotions........."fight or flight" mechanisms.

Congress set for showdown with Trump over Kurds

https://thehill.com/policy/defense/4...ump-over-kurds

Trump apparently did not discuss this with the relevant parties...............he just went ahead with the decision after talking to the Turkish leader................So It looks like he might be doing something that the Turkey leadership asked of him... It just happens to fit with his campaign promise of bringing troops home.

He should release the transcript of that call ...

Curiouser and curiouser.
