'TURNED TO MUSH': Bones in trophy hunter's hands mangled in alligator attack

Trophy hunter Justin Perchalski had his bones "turned to mush" by an alligator he was hunting.Facebook
A trophy hunter tangled with an alligator and lost.
Justin Perchalski was hunting an 11-foot long alligator in a Florida swamp when the beast managed to grab hold of his right hand and started gnawing on it, Fox 26 reports.
His bones were “turned to mush” as the alligator tried to drag Perchalski out of the boat and into the swamp.
The attack occurred on a night hunt just two days after the official start of the hunting season.
Speaking with Fox 26, Perchalski’s brother, Ryan, described the attack, stating “Justin reached over the side of the boat to pull on the line, to bring the gator up, when the gator came out of the water, grabbing his right hand,” he said.
“The alligator made it about a turn-and-a-half with his hand in his mouth before he let go, which is kind of crazy, because typically they don’t let go.”
Fighting against the strength of the alligator, Perchalski was saved by three friends who managed to hold onto him.
After the alligator let go, Justin was transported to a hospital where he had major surgery on his hand and arm.
He lost the radial bone in his forearm.

His brother says it is unlikely Justin will return to hunting as the likelihood of regaining full use of his arm is slim.
Unfortunately, an incident like this is only a matter of time, according to Ryan.
“You do it long enough, something like this is bound to happen,” he said.
Hubby and I hunt for food too but we don't kill ones that are endangered or rare. And the best for eating are the younger ones, which leaves the older, bigger ones for breeding stock.
And "God" probably doesn't exist. Nature supplies the sunrises, sunsets, etc.
Kate Small is small-minded.
Would going to a farm an having the farmer pop one for you and you tie it to the hood as you leave not almost be the same. Most of 'the hunters' too the kill to a butcher so who knows what in the hell they got back. Most of the time they need a lot of different meat to make any decent sausages so more money. Order from them directly, that way you know you are getting the right product.
