Our planting season is a bit later here because of the threat of frost up until now. When we finally get it into the ground, it goes like gangbusters. Nice long summer days, here. We are seven degrees south of you and we get more sun per day because of it. I'm at 43.47" latitude which is almost 500 miles to the South of Vernon. Winter-weary Americans express dismay as May snow falls in the Midwest and West

"It's looking more like mid-January than late May up north," Arizona Department of Transportation writes on Twitter on Monday, May 20, 2019.

Meteorologist Joe Moore declared the May snow in Duluth was 'CRAZY.'

The last place to thaw is the first to re-freeze....

Last year was "unprecedented sea ice" but the "hottest" year since 1951 when the statiscal record started.

How does that happen.

WRONG - After March 21 when we are even, Vernon gets more sunlight per day up until Sept. 22.

50°N gets 1 HR and a bit more sunshine in summer than down in Canada's penis (43.5°N) where he lives.

At the N. Pole you get 24 hours daily for 6 months (more or less due to the fact the earth isn't perfectly round).

If you know anything at about the seasons you know at the poles the sun doesn't set for 6 months and doesn't rise for the following 6 months, by the same token at the equator all days and nights through out the year are exactly 12 hours. At the poles the heating effect of the sun is minimal due to low angle of the sun above the horizon.

I just heard on an interview that this is the worst corn planting season in the US ever.

This is what these global warming nuts have brought.

Ummm...The ideal date for corn planting in the US and in the southern part of Canada is MAY 10th

In many states, and even around here, the corn ( and other things also) planting is the latest it has ever been...much won't even get done now.

So the results of this are all because some people who wanna run stuff ( like Maurice Strong, All gore, two bullet suicide Hitlery, and trudie and Macron's pal Soros the jew trainer) are brain dead GENOCIDAL EffE tards.

Lets hope it isn,t followed by the short growing season and a poor harvest some have forecast.

It rises and sets during spring and fall.

There is no set date. You need a consistent soil temp of 5C. You can seed earlier at 3C but germination is slow and plant development slow.

Students From 1,600 Cities Just Walked Out of School to Protest Climate Change. It Could Be Greta Thunberg's Biggest Strike Yet

Hundreds of thousands of students around the world walked out of their schools and colleges Friday in the latest in a series of strikes urging action to address the climate crisis. According to event organizers Fridays for Future, over 1664 cities across 125 countries registered strike actions, with more expected to report turnouts in the coming days.
The “School Strike for Climate” movement was first started by Swedish teenager Greta Thunberg, who began her strike outside the country’s parliament in Stockholm in August 2018 and has said that she will continue to strike until Sweden is aligned with the goals of the Paris Agreement. Since then, her singular action has spread into an international climate movement, organized by young people around the world. This strike followed the last co-ordinated event on March 15, which saw over 1.6 million people across 133 countries turn out at demonstrations according to organizers.
Thunberg was recently profiled on TIME’s global cover as a Next Generation Leader, along with nine other people shaping the world’s future. “This is not about truancy or civil disobedience, this is about the climate and the ecological crisis, and people need to understand that,” Thunberg told TIME in Stockholm, a couple of weeks ahead of the global strike.

So you are using children for propaganda now are you you wieners? It's always the children.

Well, They are all going to starve from no jobs due to robots, so who cares that they are going to get millions killed from freezing and starvation cause they are dumb too? Students are supposed to be learning science not stupidity in school. But we all kNWO they are learning stupidity. I guess if they wanted to learn something TRUE, maybe they should all just look out the window.

“The worst ever that we’ve seen” – Wettest Since 1895 – Grand Solar Minimum
by Ice Age Farmer | May 25, 2019

An inflection point has been reached with respect to the collapse of modern agriculture as we enter the Grand Solar Minimum and the climate changes — and the system is responding by clamping down on truth. As the US experiences its worst planting on record, China is facing a one-two punch from African Swine Fever and Armyworm. Food prices are rising. Canada officially reports a 14-year high of arctic sea ice levels. Will ASF come to US, and inspire forced vaccines for livestock? Christian breaks it down.

Dr. Patrick Moore Speaks about the Grand Solar Minimum at the Water, Oceans and Wildlife Subcommittee Hearing
“It appears as though the GSM is occurring and will continue to occur for some time, and will result in a cooling of the climate.”

Hey cliffy! Here is a book you might want to read!

Global Warming Activists As Villains For A Change: A Review Of Michael Crichton's "State Of Fear"
(Crichton is an M.D. BTW.)
The message conveyed is two-fold:

--The scientific evidence does not support global warming fears -- or even the occurrence of a significant warming trend.

--The environmental movement and its well-paid leadership have jumped on the GW bandwagon because that's where the money is. The book mirrors real-life environmental activism, says Ronald Bailey, Reason magazine's science correspondent, in his book review for the Wall Street Journal (Dec. 10, 2004).

The scientific evidence is well presented, with numerous graphs and references, but more can be said. The climate has never been constant -- always either warming or cooling on all time scales (year-to-year, decadal, millennial, and over millions of years) -- independent of any human influence. While the observed pre-1940 warming is real and mostly natural (a recovery from the preceding Little Ice Age that terminated around 1850), the cooling from 1940 to 1975 is certainly not a greenhouse effect.

The warming data reported during the past twenty-five years from surface stations (almost all of them on land) are likely contaminated by urban heat effects; we don't see such warming in the atmospheric record of weather balloons or from weather satellites that cover the whole globe on a regular basis (including the 70% covered by oceans). At most, human greenhouse effects would lead to a temperature rise by 2100 of a measly 0.8 degrees C.
