Did you even read it? I mean it's just fantastic news. A whole bunch of new minimum wage and low paying jobs, over half of which are part time, while we shed over 32,000 decent paying manufacturing jobs.

Yet, the brain-dead ALT-left considers this to be great economic news while remaining the least bit incurious about why we're running multiple structural deficits with only a chance of returning to balance by 2040. I mean after all, your "Dear Exalted Leader" specifically stated that when the economy is doing well, the budget will balance itself. I guess what Groper meant to say is, "When the economy is doing well and some f*cking worthless trust-fund pissant isn't intentionally digging the country deeper into debt because the UN wants more money, the budget will balance itself."

Meh, why am I wasting my time with a stunted intellect like yours anyway. You've proven to be the type that gets their nads all pumped over words while either conveniently ignoring the speaker's actions or making the most pathetic excuses for them. well, as long as you support them ideologically.

But I honestly don't see your issue with White nationalists. You sure seem to admire your racist Norwad heroes. Yeah, they have an amazing social system. They also don't have suicidal levels of immigrants flooding into their welfare state. Remember when all those "refugees" flooded into Europe? During that same period, your racist buddies in Norway let in a grand total of 30,000 from ALL sources, not just the "refugees" in Europe.

But I guess when Super proggy Norway has strictly controlled immigration and believes in the concept of border and national sovereignty, they're not "racist", or "nazi" or "white nattys". My gosh, how can they be when they're just so super progressive. One would almost think they practiced some form of national socialism. Oh wait, they do.

Sadly, the days of everyone having a good chance at a good paying, full time job is over. And it's not because of lack of people wanting to work.

It's employers not wanting to pay out the cash for full time and the benefits that come with it.

After all, why pay for a ft worker with benefits, when a part time or casual with none will do. And if they quit, another will replace them because people still need to work.

Least, that's my thoughts on the subject.

Jobs are jobs, sure, but in the end, it doesn't matter to the employer who is there, just so long as someone is.

Well as Jinentonix stated in his post, you need to read closely as to what was said and he's right! Not very good. It's amazing how BMO is "parroting" the government party line stating that things are basically looking up - NO - they're not!! The way they are making statements is disingenuous at best because they know full well that most people won't look at what they are actually saying. They just look at the "big" numbers and figure - wow - 66,000 jobs were created not realizing that those jobs are Mc D jobs and over 32,000 well paying jobs were lost - apparently nothing worth writing or explaining.

I did read the article, unfortunately I am unable to invent all my own numbers like you are because the article I read didn't even talk about good jobs being lost and bad jobs being gained and blah blah blah

You need to understand that people need to work more than one job. Couples need several jobs and they can't all be full time. You have to fill up those night and weekend hours with something productive.

Might as well be making me a coffee.

Are you SURE you read the WHOLE article? From the article:
Quote:

The services sector saw a gain of 99,200 positions, led by new work in wholesale and retail trade (typically minimum wage), while the goods-producing industries experienced a net loss of 32,300 jobs, the report said. Canada added 30,900 full-time jobs last month and 36,000 part-time positions, the report also said.

I'll take mine with 1 cream 1 sugar, dumbass.

By the way, your excuse about needing multiple jobs don't wash. They only need those multiple jobs because the jobs being created don't pay a living wage. You can't replace our resource-based trade economy (which makes up about 80% of our GDP) and the good paying jobs that come with it with Big Mac's and retail outlets. No matter how much lipstick you want to slap on it, it's still not pretty.
Not to mention that public sector jobs really don't add anything to the economy since the money to pay them comes out of the economy in the first place.

It wouldn't be if leftards wouldn't put up roadblocks to every major developement. BCat least could be like Alaska and pay dividends to citizens if we could get resources out of the ground, processed and sent to market. BUT NO we have to kowtow to USfinanced anti work groups when the government should be throwing these protesters in jail or out of the country if they were not born here.

The little detail that IS BEING OVER LOOKED by Cdn media is this::::

That latest job news DOES NOT include reports of other jobs LOST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And DOES NOT report on how many of the "new jobs" are part time, low paid, temporary CRAP McJobs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In other months we HAVE SEEN a consistent move AWAY from good jobs - that are being replaced by CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LIE-berals wre getting more sophisticated at "Massaging" their message!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here is an article illustrating the utterly messed up situation LIE-brals are making in Canada!

And it illustrates the GROTESQUE COST of allowing LIE-berals to continue BUYING the votes of illegals!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

With some comments of my own in brackets):

Quebec immigration system makes welfare attractive

By Giuseppe Valiante, CBC

Published December 2. 2018

Hugo Ruiz at his home in Laval, Que., Friday, Nov. 30, 2018. Ruiz, who is a software engineer from Colombia, says he has trouble getting government help because he isn't on welfare. Hugo Hernan Ruiz, a 42-year-old systems engineer from Colombia, has a master's degree in his field and ran the IT department of an oil company in his home country.

His French is excellent considering he arrived in Quebec in 2016 with little knowledge of the language. But like many highly educated newcomers to the province, Ruiz has struggled to find work despite being selected as a skilled immigrant by provincial authorities.

After failing to find a job, he decided to open his own consulting business to take advantage of his South American contacts. He applied for a provincial program that assists budding entrepreneurs with grants, marketing and training.

But he was rejected because the program was for people who were on welfare or who had received Employment Insurance — and he fit neither category.

(Oh that is a nice bit of LIE-beral two faced bigotry! LIE-berals WANT lots of immigrants but do not want them taking job from Cdns! Taking Cdn jobs using govt welfare money would be seen as an unsolvable contradiction- except that all LIE-berals really want from immigrants IS THEIR VOTES!!!!!!!)

It would become a common refrain, he said, as he tried unsuccessfully to navigate the Quebec bureaucracy.

(Yes LIE-berals do make grand and EMPTY offers of aid to many people! BIG TALK and no sensible action on anything! Just a focus on govt GRAVY!!!!!!!!!!)

I think there needs to be a reflection," Ruiz said over coffee at a strip mall in the Montreal suburb of Laval, where he settled with his wife and two children. "What happens to immigrants who are trying to succeed and who don't come here to live off the government?"

(Sadly there is ample proof that our LIE-beral govt WANTS charity cases as they will sell their votes to LIE-berals MORE CHEAPLY than any others!!!!)

As Quebec Premier Francois Legault moves to reduce immigration in order, he says, to ensure newcomers learn French and find work, Ruiz's case highlights the obstacles and contradictions facing educated immigrants who are neither poor nor wealthy.

(And there is another LIE-beral Fake News deal- Legault is focused on stemming the deluge of illegal- and they are NOT IMMIGRANTS in any honest sense- they are TRESPASSERS who are being encouraged to come here by shameless vote buying LIE-berals over the protests of ordinary Cdns!)

Yann Hairaud, head of a Montreal-based immigrant employment centre, said he knows of cases where skilled workers find options closed to them because they aren't on welfare.

"Unfortunately yes," he said in an interview. "These situations can happen. There is a certain incoherence in some of the rules that exist for newcomers."

(What confusion can there be? LIE-beral Social Justice Warriors SCORN strong, logical and educated people who can care for themselves- such people do not beg govt for handouts and thus denying the welfare state the opportunity to feed on weakness and exploit desperate voters!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Shortly after Ruiz arrived in Quebec, he enrolled in a French-language program to study what's known as the internet of things — the network of objects that contain electronics and can interact with one another.

"I thought that instead of taking French courses, I would take a French-language course in my field, so I would learn both," he said.

(Oh how logical! To go seek to learn the local language for your trade!)

He graduated with a vocational certificate last August — but because the government didn't fully pay for his training, more doors were closed to him. A paid public-sector internship caught his eye, but to get it he had to qualify for a provincial salary subsidy.

He was rejected for the subsidy, he explained, because the government hadn't paid for his training.

(Such a nice Catch 22- that nonsensical explanation for bureaucratic madness that dates to WW2! But the truth is that LIE-berals LOVE the “bait and switch”! The GRAND GESTURE that is also empty and meaningless! LIE-berals TALK often but DO LITTLE since real action might cut into their gravy supply!)

"I brought all my savings with me (from Colombia) and I prepared financially in order to avoid asking for welfare," Ruiz said. "I'm not criticizing the Employment Department or the government. But I think the country needs to reflect on whether the immigration system encourages immigrants to go on welfare."

(So either the guy is quite diplomatic or he has not yet figured out how LIE-berals are DELIBERATELY SCREWING US ALL!)

Dominique Anglade, immigration critic for the provincial Liberals, has not heard of immigrants going on welfare to land jobs, but she acknowledged those on social assistance have a certain advantage.

(Uh huh- and that certain advantage works to BUY LIE-beral votes!)

Anglade, a former economy minister, said in an interview that "a high percentage" of immigrants fail to complete the necessary training to have their skills recognized in Quebec, in part because of the high costs involved.

(But Ruiz HAS the training certificates and is still UNEMPLOYED thanks to LIE-beral bait and switch! Even the EXCUSE offered by Anglade is bait and switch since Anglade is talking about immigrants without completed credentials- and Ruiz is NOT in that group!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

"When you go on welfare, you do have some support that can help you actually accomplish finding a job and everything else," she said. She blamed the discrepancy on government departments not working hand in hand.

(Oh yes- any good socialist will insist THE SYSTEM IS NEVER WRONG!!! ANY socialist failing is always blamed on a few individuals!!!!!!)

Immigration Department spokesperson Chantal Bouchard, said integration "is obviously a priority" but referred questions about the obstacles facing skilled immigrants to the Employment Department.

(“Oh don’t ask me” says the LIE-beral- “go ask the others who are more truly to Blame than I”! It is Bait and Switch on FULL POWER!!!!!!!!)

Employment Department spokesman Vincent Breton did not respond directly to questions about whether people who are not receiving welfare are at a disadvantage when seeking work.

"As you know, the Employment Department offers many measures and programs for those who want to integrate into the workforce," Breton said in an email, adding that each file is analyzed on its individual merits.

(Yes- we know there are many offers- all of them seeking to BUY VOTES for LIE-berals! And that is the problem- what is best for LIE-berals IS NOT GOOD for the rest of us!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Hairaud, whose organization CITIM works with about 1,800 immigrants a year, said the Employment Department gives priority to certain groups, including those who are on welfare or unemployment insurance.

Quebec seeks out skilled workers, he noted, but they are ineligible for government support programs if they are deemed too successful.

(No support for being deemed TO SUCCESSFUL? HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!! CLASSIC LIE-BERAL THINKING!!!!)

"It's contradictory, the right hand doesn't know what the left is doing," Hairaud said.

(Again- the socialist system is NEVER wrong -it is only a few individuals who are MAKING ALLEGEDLY accidental mistakes!!!!)

Despite the difficulties, the employment landscape is improving for immigrants, partly due to Quebec's strong economy. In August 2018, the unemployment rate for immigrants between the ages of 25 and 54 fell to 6.1 per cent after hovering above 10 per cent for much of the previous decade, the Institut du Quebec reported.

(Quebec has a strong economy? Would that be because the govt has STOPPED RUNNING HUGE DEFICITS and is cutting debt and taxes? Or is that because Our idiot Boy has been sending Quebec $11 billion dollars per year in federal transfer payments and that mad money is HELPING buoy up the Quebec economy? And has Qubec BENEFITTED from being TOUGH on illegals and forcing LIE-berals to bus the illegals- and their housing anf welfare bills off to more tolerant Toronto- the Sanctuary City???????????)

Ruiz said he's happy in Canada. His two young children are in school, and he wants to start a new life here. But he questions the value Canada places on the first generation of immigrants.

"My experience looking for work has been bizarre," he said. "What is the life for professionals who come here? Is the first generation of immigrants important to Canada?"

(NO! Only their willingness to support LIE-berals is important! And a guy who is willing to start his own company and create his own job as Ruiz is trying to do- IS CLEARLY NOT A GOOD LIE-beral! If he does get his company up and running he is likely to join other Cdns in complaining about LIE-beral taxation and waste! Clearly he is of no use to LIE-berals!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

FLIRTING with the dreaded "R" word????????????????????????

Oh....................................Its WAY WORSE THAN THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Consider only the deficits in Ontari-owe, Alberta and Ottawa........................................

$16 billion in Ontari-owe.............................

$20 billion in Ottawa........................................

$9 billion in Alberta- and that was last spring before the oil disaster rally hit them so who knows what the REAL CURRENT Alberat deficit is now............................................... .....

Especially since Alberta is in election mode and WE KNOW that Socialist types routinely SPEND FREELY in an election year...........

meaning EVEN MORE EXPANSION of Alberta deficit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And we know other provinces are running deficits of various sizes............................

With the exception of Quebec which has that wonderful LIE-beral $11 billion dollar federal transfer payment to balance their books!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now.........................IMAGINE THE CONSEQUENCES...................................... ......

If we hit the debt wall and suddenly have to do WITHOUT that $50 billion dollars- or more - of BORROWED MONEY that keeps us afloat each year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Imagine the vicious grinding economic halt that would slam the entire Cdn economy to the ground!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No...................we are NOT flirting with the dreaded "R" word!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are flirting with other Truly NASTY words!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Like DEPRESSION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!

And........................National Economic Catastrophe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!

WE are NOT IMMUNE to the Greek style fiscal catastrophe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!
