The Sampson Option

I like that. I wonder how many people actually know what that is.

I think the Democrat Party is doing that right now.

arrr, mates, thats correct.
I got it confused with the Simpsons Option.
"The Samson Option.
The name is a reference to the biblical Israelite judge Samson who pushed apart the pillars of a Philistine temple, bringing down the roof and killing himself and thousands of Philistines who had captured him,.crying out "Let me die with the Philistines!" (Judges 16:30).
Israel refuses to confirm or deny it has nuclear weapons or to describe how it would use them, an official policy of nuclear ambiguity, also known as "nuclear opacity." This has made it difficult for anyone outside the Israeli government to describe the country's true nuclear policy definitively, while still allowing Israel to influence the perceptions, strategies and actions of other governments. However, over the years, some Israeli leaders have publicly acknowledged their country's nuclear capability: Ephraim Katzir in 1974, Moshe Dayan in 1981, Shimon Peres in 1998, and Ehud Olmert in 2006.
During his 2006 confirmation hearings before the United States Senate regarding his appointment as George W. Bush's Secretary of Defense, Robert Gates admitted that Israel had nuclear weapons.[8] In his 2008 book The Culture of War, Martin van Creveld, a professor of military history at Israel's Hebrew University, wrote that since Gates admitted that Israel had nuclear weapons, any talk of Israel's nuclear weapons in Israel can lead to "arrest, trial, and imprisonment." Thus Israeli commentators talk about "doomsday weapons" and the Samson Option.
Nevertheless, as early as 1976, the CIA believed that Israel possessed 10 to 20 nuclear weapons. By 2002, it was estimated that the number had increased to between 75 and 200 thermonuclear weapons, each in the multiple-megaton range. Kenneth S. Brower has estimated as many as 400 nuclear weapons. These can be launched from land, sea and air. This gives Israel a second strike option even if much of the country is destroyed."

Well actually real leaders , don’t fold like a cheap cigar when the opposition uses every tactic in the book to derail his agenda , and some that aren’t in the book .
Our Conservative party here in Canada had a nice malleable leader , very nice man , little controversy , where did that get him ? Leader of squat .

It is funny that you mention that... a Doctor on NPR (the far left, liberal, government funded funded radio) this morning said exactly that!

TRUMP CALLS FOR SWEEPING BUDGET CUTS: Democratic leaders Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer are reacting to Pres. Trump's just-released 2021 proposed budget. It calls for $292 billion in cuts to safety net programs (including Medicaid and food stamps), $170 billion in cuts to student loan forgiveness, a $3.3 billion cut to the National Institutes of Health, and a $6.2 billion cut to the Education Dept. Funding would rise for ICE, Customs & Border Protection, the border wall, NASA, and Veterans Affairs.

It's very seldom a bad thing to encourage people to do more for themselves. We live in a sick society where the Gov't. is expected to do everything for people. Gov't's role is to enact legislation and act as a "watchdog", not picking up after people!

Yes but their role should include limiting the amount of resources eaten by the bureaucracy . Sadly enacting legislation just expands the reach and waste of said bureaucracy.

Yeah cuts are great. It's great that 1 in 7 kids don't get enough to eat (and no they aren't all fat if you think you'll offer that childish generalisation). It's great that the number of kids with no health coverage has risen. https://ccf.georgetown.edu/2018/11/2...verses-course/
It's great that education is getting worse. https://www.lifesitenews.com/opinion...-getting-worse
And it's great that the wealthy and corporations get their hugse subsidies and Trump spends wads at hisgolf courses and "Space Force". lmao
After all, a stupid, unhealthy population is easy to control.
If I were prez and wanted to make America great again, I'd be pouring money to keep future generations healthy and the best educated kids in the world. But Trump couldn't care less as long as he can make money off the office. And so many dumbasses think that's great. I just think it's funny, pathetic but funny.
He's MCGA (making china great again). lol

The worst thing we should be doing is throwing more $ at the problem. It's been reported time and time again recently that between 56 and 60% of food produced ends up in the land fills. There's no excuse for that kind of bull shit! Three or four days BEFORE the "best before date" all this food should be going out to food banks, hospitals, prisons, senior's homes etc. There's no excuse for ANY waste!
