Internet "radio" streaming tool for Linux

This week I've been playing with StreamTuner, a stream directory browser for the Linux desktop.

I found it to be a great way to manage all of the different Internet broadcasts I listen too, as well as a simple way of finding more.

I wrote a short HowTo on my website, if anyone is interested.

Thanks for the information. I'll probably try that out soon. That for both audio and video?

To be honest, I haven't tried a video stream.

Logically, it should work, as StreamTuner launches XMMS. So, if you have XMMS with the proper video drivers (like MPlayer) installed, it should play a video stream the same as an audio stream.

Alright thanks ... I plan to try it on the weekend since I'm packed with tests and homework all during the weekday .

You're welcome.

Hey, did you try video streams with it? Does it work?

Not yet, nothing to stream right now and I don't remember any links to any of the funny video's I watched.

Something will come up soon maybe.
