Yes, release and expunge all their records. I would also say, legalize all drugs and follow the lead of Portugal in treating addiction as a health problem not a criminal one.

Johnson & Johnson boosted opioid sales via 'cynical brainwashing', court hears

OxyContin Maker Explored Expansion Into “Attractive” Anti-Addiction Market

Secret portions of a lawsuit allege that Purdue Pharma, controlled by the Sackler family, considered capitalizing on the addiction treatment boom — while going to extreme lengths to boost sales of its controversial opioid.
https://www.propublica.org/article/o...diction-market

The current U.S. opioid epidemic is a distressingly deadly one. In 2016, it killed some 64,000 Americans, more than double the number in 2005.

However, heroin itself is not the primary culprit of high rates of overdose. It is fentanyl, a highly potent synthetic opioid mixed into heroin and cocaine, as well as used on its own. Fentanyl causes deadly overdoses, particularly if dealers do not disclose the presence of fentanyl in the hits they sell to users (so as to get them addicted to a more profitable drug). Though some fentanyl production appears to be developing in Mexico, most of U.S. fentanyl comes from China.

Oh look yer lil commie pals in china killin off yer lil pals in the US. THEN they launder the money in Canadian realestate making thousands and thousands of Canadians homeless because they can NOT afford the skyrocketing rents from the bubbles that created. So they go out and drown their troubles with dope and die of hypothermia.

oh how sad...but profitable.

(Don't tell Sleepy it's a conspiracy and JandJ got fined a half billion dollars in just ONE state (OHIO)...damn That alex jones for forecasting this type of thing too!)

So, once all these drugs are provided to the addicted, they will now become responsible contributing members of society, Cliffy? If not, then forget it. There are enough dead-beats in this country without creating more. Addiction is a health problem - a mental health problem and there are not enough head-doctors in this country to take care of those in need right now.

Cliff wants his record cleared? Persona non grata in many a nation? What a bummer for Cliff.

Look into what Portugal has done: addiction is down, drug use is down, prisons are emptying, rehabilitation is working, people are becoming contributing members of society.

Yup. Crime fell right along with the unemployment rate.

It proves working for a living lowers crime.
