Koko dead at 46

The world famous gorilla Koko has passed away at 46. She was famous for her mastery of sign language and spear-headed conservation efforts to help the freeborn members of her species.

There are literally thousands of hours of film of her life, and if you have never seen her interactions with cats it is worth a look - but I found her meeting with Robin Williams to be quite interesting.

She had a pretty good life, all things considered.
