Ontario cabinet minister Lisa MacLeod says she wants to ensure anyone who discloses their mental-health struggles isn’t ridiculed, undermined or made fun of.
She made the comments at the legislature after former Progressive Conservative leader Patrick Brown wrote about her mental health issues in his new tell-all book.
Brown alleged that some party organizers believed MacLeod made up her mental health issues in order to garner public support.
Brown’s sexual misconduct allegations against Fedeli ‘smear campaign’: Ford
MacLeod, who has long been public about her mental health struggles, called Brown’s comments disgusting and cruel.
She says mental health is not a laughing matter and added that she wanted to encourage anyone seeking support to get the help they need.
Brown says today that his team supported MacLeod when she faced mental health challenges despite internal opposition.

Is it not truly AMUSING?????????????????????

LIE-berals want to argue about Mcleod and her mental status WHILE IGNORING ANY QUESTIONS about the sanity of Our idiot Boy Justin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here is an article illustrating some SERIOUS QUESTIONS regarding the sanity and the morals of Our idiot Boy Justin. With some comments of my own in brackets):

EDITORIAL: We're owed answers on Trudeau's Boyle meeting

Special to Toronto Sun. Published: January 5, 2018. Updated: January 5, 2018 5:27 PM EST

Filed Under: Toronto SUN/ Opinion/ Editorials

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau appears with members of the Boyle family on Parliament Hill in Ottawa in pictures posted Dec. 19, 2017 to a Twitter account attributed to the family of released Afghan hostage Joshua Boyle. (Twitter/The Boyle Family)

Canadians deserve to know more about why Prime Minister Justin Trudeau met with returned captive Joshua Boyle and his family and what was discussed during that meeting.

For a PM who preached transparency before being elected, his office has been less than forthcoming about a controversial meeting with Boyle.

Here’s what we know: Late last month Boyle, via a family twitter account, posted photos of his family’s sit-down with Trudeau. When contacted by media, the PMO confirmed the meeting took place but refused to discuss details citing privacy considerations.

Sorry, we’re not buying it. This isn’t about protecting privacy, not given the questions surrounding Boyle and fact he tweeted photos from the meeting himself.

When the PM has a hush-hush meeting with someone previously married to Omar Khadr’s sister, who then travelled to Afghanistan under questionable circumstances, it’s reasonable to ask why our PM would meet with them and what was discussed.

(Face it- the sanity and values of Our idiot Boy Justin are already under serious doubt! His choice to give $10.5 million dollars to terror poster boy Omar Khadr has seriously damaged LIE-beral credibility! That LIE-berals would then go ahead and hand out ANOTHER $37 million dollars to 3 other Muslims detained in the aftermath of 9/11- BEFORE the Khadr Krap fallout had ceased is further display of either madness or utter contempt for main stream Canada! The LIE-beral choice to welcome home returning Isis fighters so they “can be a powerful voice in Canada” is also worrying! The LIE-beral choice not to deport convicted terrorists is even more disturbing! The Boyle business just throws gasoline on the public bonfire of very QUESTIONABLE LIE-beral values!)

As a Sun exclusive revealed this week, Boyle emailed Candice Malcolm following his release claiming he’d been offered a position in the Taliban-linked group that held him captive. He criticized his captors for not being, in his view, authentically Muslim enough.

(Boyle- the NUTBAR former Mennonite who went on tour in Taliban held Afghanistan- with his pregnant wife- wants to be critical of the level of radical Muslim devotion? HAHAHA!!!!! And he wants to discuss it with Candace Malcolm who writes so often about the political and military menace offered by radical Islam? More HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!)

Did the Prime Minister’s office and vast security apparatus surrounding him not know this? Did they know but decided questions about Boyle’s murky past were irrelevant?

And if so, what was the point of meeting?

(Yeah- great question!!!! Is Cdn security so bad they did not know anything about Boyle? Or is Our idiot Boy so far out there in left field intellectually that he over rode security concerns to meet with Boyle? Boyle tells us he and Our idiot Boy are old pals who have met before- which means more gasoline on the political fire!!!)

As security expert Scott Newark told Anthony Furey, we ought to know whether Trudeau discussed a financial pay-out to Boyle, similar to the one received by his ex-relative Khadr, for Canada not securing his release.

(Our idiot Boy has been very clearly dismayed at the public opposition to giving Khadr ANYTHING!!!! Even long time members of LIE-beral party are dismayed- though its hard to say whether they are opposed simply because of negative public reaction and potentially lost votes- or if some LIE- berals actually think the pay out was morally wrong!)

Meanwhile, compounding questions about Boyle and the meeting is the troubling news that he now faces 15 criminal charges ranging from assault and sexual assault to misleading police, though none have been tested in court.

(Our idiot Boy- the feminist star of the Kokanee Grope scandal has some very ODD events in his life- before entering politics!)

The alleged crimes occurred during a timespan than included his PMO visit. Did the PMO’s office know about those charges?

(Again we must ask questions about the quality of Cdn security! Or maybe we should ask if Boyle black mailed Our idiot Boy into meeting with him- as in “meet with me or I will go public with the details of our so called friendship”!)

Bottom line, the collective stink surrounding Boyle’s motives and behaviour ought to have given Trudeau, or someone in his office, serious pause for concern.

That it didn’t, and we’re offered nothing but silence by way of explanation, provides yet another example of the growing lack of judgment from our PM.

(Our idiot Boy is just like his father- they both think that their bullsh+t and a big helping of bribery will keep them in power! Too bad the gravy has run out and the problems re things like crime, national security and illegal immigration are piling up! And Our idiot Boy is making himself look like a nut job with his fawning praise for radical Muslims and returning Isis fighters! But then what else should we expect from a goof whose father Pierre publicly praised Chinese Chairman Mao for “his genius in rushing 30 million Chinese to the gallows” during the Great Leap Forward! A kid like Justin is quite likely to absorb some very weird values from a father who praises state mass murder in such fashion as Pierre did!)

Vic Fedeli serves libel notice to Patrick Brown over book

TORONTO — A Toronto-based publisher says Ontario’s finance minister is pursuing legal action against Patrick Brown over allegations made in a tell-all book by the former Progressive Conservative leader.
Dean Baxendale said Wednesday that lawyers for Vic Fedeli have demanded a full retraction of allegations of sexual misconduct made in “Takedown: The Attempted Political Assassination of Patrick Brown” published in November.
Baxendale said both he and Brown have been served with a notice of libel — which can be the first step in launching a lawsuit.
Brown, who resigned as party leader last year amid allegations of sexual misconduct that he denies, portrayed himself in his book as a victim of a conspiracy led by senior Tory officials.
The book also made allegations against several key members of the Tory government, including Fedeli, whom Brown said faced accusations of “inappropriate behaviour” by a party staffer in December 2017.

Brown wrote that the accusations “were not anything I could picture being consistent with Fedeli’s character” but that he could not disregard them and told Fedeli he would look into the matter. Brown alleges that when he spoke to the complainant, she asked that the matter go no further.
Fedeli said at the time that the allegations were “categorically false and without any merit.”
Baxendale said the retraction demanded by Fedeli would gut the entire book. He said he has briefly responded to the minister’s lawyers but is planning a more extensive response.
Brown, who went on to become mayor of Brampton, Ont., was not immediately available for comment.

Ontario’s finance minister has filed a defamation suit against the former leader of the Progressive Conservative party for allegations made in a recently published book.
Vic Fedeli alleges Patrick Brown made false and defamatory comments about alleged sexual misconduct in his book, “Takedown: The Attempted Political Assassination of Patrick Brown,” which was published in November.
In an unproven statement of claim, Fedeli says the allegations were a vicious attack on his character intended to damage his reputation as Brown settled political scores.
Brown, who resigned as party leader last year amid allegations of sexual misconduct that he denies, portrayed himself in his book as a victim of a conspiracy led by senior Tory officials.
He wrote that Fedeli faced accusations of “inappropriate behaviour” by a party staffer in December 2017, which Fedeli has denied.
Book publisher Dean Baxendale — who is also named as a defendant in the lawsuit — says neither his company nor Brown have been served with the suit and will not comment until that happens.
Fedeli is seeking at least $8 million in damages.

These women are absolutely astonishing in their attacks and I don't envy men right now. I'm wondering how many are searching their minds for activities they did (like stealing a kiss, or slapping a bum) and who might come after them.
This whole "metoo" situation puts those who have been raped and physically harmed in the same category as those who are accusing these men for minor missteps and it drives me bananas as true victims don't deserve all this B.S. How selfish we have become (we meaning women).
And, what has happened to innocent until proven guilty? Many of these men have said they aren't guilty and as a lawyer I heard on the radio state, these men who say they are innocent need to have the balls to stand up to those women if they are being wrongly accused instead of going and hiding. No man is safe, that's for sure and we've become a society of judges without due process. It is extremely worrisome for sure!! And, if this is the way women want to actually gain a better footing in society, I don't want anything to do with it.
And those so-called "power" women like Oprah, Mariel Streep et el should be ashamed of themselves for not saying anything for 10, 20 or more years. How many victims could they have prevented and didn't.
Anyhoo, that's my opinion.

While I agree that feminists have launched a witch hunt against men, I will say this:

1. the last time I kissed a girl without her consent, I was around seven years old and she was my classmate. I've never kissed a woman without her consent since.

2. I've never slapped a woman's bum without her consent except by accident on a crowded street for example.

So while I don't deny that feminists have certainly launched a vicious campaign against men, most women aren't feminists and many men do disrespect women (though I grant that it can go both ways just as easily too, which feminists like to downplay or outright deny).

That said, I do find it strange to make the accusation so much later. Even if it's true, it's just going to be one's word against the other's by now. I also think we should scrap rape-shield protection so as to allow the accused a chance to fully defend himself. I'd even go so far as to grant him the right to an inquisitorial trial on request.

Here is an article condemning the LIE-beral habit of playing fast and loose with Cdn civil rights while playing one group off against others in exchange for votes! With some comments of my own in brackets):

No special Canadians!

From Winnipeg Sun.

Published: December 22, 2018, Updated: December 22, 2018 5:34 PM EST

Filed Under: Toronto SUN/ News/ Canada

The Ontario government said on Wednesday it was looking into rules requiring all municipal councillors to pledge allegiance to the Queen after an Indigenous councillor-elect refused to do so. The issue arose in Hearst, Ont., where Gaetan Baillargeon said he was forced to vacate the seat he recently won in a general election because he wouldn't take the oath.

(The Queen is a figure head and is the public face of our democracy! You don’t have to like either her or Britain but you MUST respect our democracy and that means loyalty to a generic version of general govt and the rule of law! LIE-berals have long been encouraging special interest groups to defy and denigrate elements of our legal system in a COSTLY AND BIASED effort to BUY VOTES!)

The Province of Ontario has put Indigenous municipal councillors into a special category. Because they are Indigenous, they are no longer required to swear or affirm allegiance to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II before taking office. This exception arose as newly-elected town councillor Gaetan Baillargeon of Hearst, Ont., refused the oath, saying: “I pledge allegiance to the peoples. (The Queen) doesn’t represent me (and) nor does the Crown.”

(That statement is a classic indicator of LIE-beral MEDDLING! LIE-berals have been encouraging natives to think of themselves as citizens of “sovereign nations” residing on reserves! This is MADNESS! Natives must understand that they are part of Canada and must come to honest terms with 21st century economic and social reality!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Mr. Baillargeon said he would not take the required oath because, as he said, the Crown represents residential schools, the reserve system and broken treaties.

(I call BULLSH+T on that! The LAW also represents Our idiot Boy Justin and his loser LIE-berals and their massive deficits that I must pay for in taxes, along with swallowing all manner of LIE-beral discrimination against white people)

(The LAW also represents former Ontari-owe premiers such as NDPer Bob Rae and LIE-beral Wynne-bag and their horribly destructive policies- and I have to pay for their gross irresponsibility AND for their solid gold pensions as well- now that both have been kicked out of office!!!!!!!!!!!!)

(As a citizen you don’t get to pick and choose which laws you will respect or obey! That is the reality of MAJORITY RULE! Yet LIE-berals are deliberately fostering exactly that anti democratic mind set!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

In response, the government of Ontario changed the rules and allowed an alternate oath of office for Indigenous municipal councillors who do not wish to swear or affirm allegiance to Her Majesty. Ontario Municipal Affairs Minister Steve Clark said he ordered an oath that would “better reflect the views of Indigenous people.”

Mr. Baillargeon is a member of Constance Lake First Nation, located near Hearst. The band is a signatory to Treaty No. 9 (1905), which includes the following promise: “… and the undersigned Ojibeway, Cree and other chiefs and headmen, on their own behalf and on behalf of all the Indians whom they represent, do hereby solemnly promise … to conduct and behave themselves as good and loyal subjects of His Majesty the King.” (Italics mine)

(Well yes- thanks to LIE-beral encouragement- ALL DEALS and social values and standards are out the window - in exchange for LIE-beral votes!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

By his disloyal conduct, Mr. Baillargeon is violating his Band’s treaty obligation to the Crown. He talks about “broken treaties” justifying his conduct. He should look in the mirror.

James C. McCrae, Brandon resident and former attorney general of Manitoba.

Under Canada’s constitutional arrangements, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and her predecessors have always been the heads of our Canadian confederation. Treaty No. 9 and all the other treaties explicitly acknowledge that. What is it about that fact that escapes Mr. Baillargeon? Or is he simply grandstanding?

(Grandstanding it is! It is the kind of defiance a spoiled child will display till there is a threat of lost treats or no desert and early bed time! Too bad LIE-berals are acting like BAD parents who don’t care about the special interest group kids!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

A “good and loyal subject” ought not to have any hesitation about swearing or affirming allegiance to Her Majesty.

(After all, the Oath DOES NOT PREVENT OR RESTRICT the ability of a citizen to work to change a law they do not like! But LIE-berals are encouraging native radicals to behave like imperious little EMPERORS!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Why this willingness on the part of the Ontario government to pander to an unpatriotic request from an Indigenous person? Why must there be an optional special oath for Indigenous citizens?

Have the Canadian and Ontario governments become incapable of using the word “no”?

(The word no brings out LIE-BERAL SPONSORED protestors and loses precious votes for govt and thus is not acceptable!)

Is this not a form of two-tier justice? Is this not setting a dangerous precedent? Will angry Quebecers be next? Angry Albertans? What about any ordinary, angry Canadian? I’m angry about the way Indigenous issues are handled in Canada. What if, because of my anger, I blamed the Crown, the titular head of the government whose conduct I’m not happy with?

(Of course it is two tier justice and it is being set up by LIE-berals for the benefit of their SUPPORTERS!!!!!!)

In fact, given the misguided approach to Indigenous affairs at the highest levels of the executive and judicial branches of our country, if it were not for the abiding respect for humanity, stability, the rule of law and public sanity which the generally racially decent and caring Canadian people possess, one might wonder if there would be any discernible stability or sanity left in our country. Our leaders are failing us here, and jeopardizing all these hard-won values.

Indigenous leaders often cite King George’s 1763 Royal Proclamation in making their cases for many of their claims. This demonstrates their recognition of the Crown as the fount and foundation of many of their rights. By renouncing his loyalty to the Crown, in the person of King George’s distant successor, is Mr. Baillargeon not also renouncing the rights and benefits his Band derives from the Crown?

(NO! Natives are merely exercising their right to behave as spoiled children! Reason and logic are not required in order to claim LIE-beral entitlements!!!!!!!!!!!)

Many Canadians – myself included – agree with Mr. Baillargeon that there are serious problems arising from the Indian Act and the treaties. We agree the history of the residential schools is an egregious one. This has nothing whatever to do with the fact that when we swear or affirm allegiance to Her Majesty, what we are really doing is promising to be good citizens (good and loyal subjects) and respect the laws of Canada. Good citizenship is essential if we are to have a united, civilized country.

(LIE-berals scorn unity- gravy and power bought with special interest group votes is their ONLY FOCUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

We can of course understand if Mr. Baillargeon feels the collective anger of many Indigenous Canadians. But he is a Canadian; his duties as a municipal councillor are exactly the same as those of all municipal councillors across Canada.

What is more difficult to understand is that the government of Ontario would be so willing to compromise on a matter like this. “Let’s just humour the man. In the spirit of reconciliation, let’s empathize with him and just make the matter go away.” This unprincipled and irresponsible behaviour of the Ontario government sets a dangerous precedent. Governments are supposed to act on principles and take the long view on issues like this. They are stewards of our always fragile civic heritage. Ontario failed us on all counts here.

(That phrase “humour the man” is LIE-beral speak meaning “lets buy his vote” by exploiting anti white bigotry and social divisions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Then there is the question of equality. Once again, a provincial government in Canada is continuing the federal tradition of treating Indigenous Canadians as special Canadians. This special treatment has been hurting Indigenous people for generations, it makes many people very angry, and it must stop.

If we cannot see and treat each other as equal fellow Canadians, resentments will continue to grow, not shrink. It is naive to think this special status approach in any way promotes reconciliation. It does exactly the opposite. Reconciliation requires apologies for wrongs, atonement (compensation) and – most importantly now – understanding on all sides.

If Mr. Baillargeon can so easily persuade Premier Doug Ford’s Progressive Conservative government of Ontario to cave in to such an unpatriotic and legally destabilizing demand, just take the time to review what an easy mark Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s Liberal Government of Canada has been for Indigenous leaders since its election in 2015.

And that government is far from finished caving. As we have seen repeatedly, it searches eagerly for opportunities to do more of it. All it needs is more “special Canadians” like Gaetan Baillargeon.

James C. McCrae, Brandon resident and former attorney general of Manitoba, with notes from Sudbury lawyer Peter Best, author of There is no Difference.

(Sadly- our LIE-beral govt has worked so long and hard to exploit and divide us that even otherwise sensible leaders like Ford have shunned this fight! With Ontari-owe locked into a massive debt and a $16 billion dollar deficit that WILL GROW BY TWO PERCENT NEXT YEAR and for each of the following two years thanks to the civil service union contracts that Wynne-bag LIE-berals signed just before being tossed out of office- Ford has bigger fish to fry than a loud mouth native!!!!!!!!!)

(Ford is just wisely picking his fights and natives with crap attitudes are a federal LIE-beral problem!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Patrick Brown’s publisher says the former Progressive Conservative leader’s tell-all book is not defamatory because the facts laid out in it are true.
Optimum Publishing International also says any opinions expressed in “Takedown: The Attempted Political Assassination of Patrick Brown” are fair comment made without malice on matters of public interest.
Ontario Finance Minister Vic Fedeli has filed a defamation lawsuit against Brown and Optimum over allegations made in the book, which he describes in his statement of claim as a “vicious and petulant attack on his character.”
Fedeli alleges the book contains false and defamatory comments about alleged sexual misconduct and a slew of other problematic statements.
In their statement of defence, Optimum and its director, Dean Baxendale, say the book makes it clear the allegations of sexual misconduct against Fedeli have not been verified “in court or by way of a workplace investigation.”

They also say they and Brown took reasonable steps to verify the contents of the book, “including obtaining relevant documents and speaking with multiple sources.”
The statements at issue in the lawsuit “constitute responsible communication on matters of public interest,” including Brown’s resignation as Tory leader and the appointment of a new leader, as well as Fedeli’s involvement in those events, the statement of defence argues.
What’s more, the statement of defence claims Fedeli has not suffered any damage to his reputation as a result of the book.
“Fedeli remains Ontario’s finance minister as part the PCPO government, holding one of the most powerful positions for any elected representative in the province,” it says. “The Optimum defendants state that any harm done Fedeli’s reputation, which is not admitted but denied, is a result of Fedeli’s own conduct and that he has failed to mitigate same.”
Brown, who stepped as party leader last year amid allegations of sexual misconduct that he denies, issued the book in November, after he was elected mayor of Brampton, Ont.
In it, he paints himself as a victim of a political conspiracy orchestrated by senior Tory officials.
He wrote that Fedeli faced accusations of “inappropriate behaviour” by a party staffer in December 2017, which the finance minister has denied.
Fedeli takes issue with a number of statements in the book that he says are defamatory, including allegations that he is a hypocrite, a “suck up,” disloyal and unfaithful, according to his claim.
Neither his claim nor the publisher’s statement of defence have been proven in court.

Well GOSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What publisher in his right mind would ever want to VOLUNTARILY ADMIT they had published something defamatory or scurrilous??????????????????

But it does seem to reveal the depths of arrogance and avarice that Fedeli will sink to in his anger and frustration!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This cynic believes Fedeli was WILDLY excited to see Pat Brown drop out of the June 2018 election!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There seems to have been good reason to think Fedeli would automatically become full leader of the party once Brown dropped out ........instead of just becoming interim leader!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think Fedelly was ENRAGED that the party would pass him by and appoint Doug Ford instead of him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fedelly has published a big bag of SOUR GRAPES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BRAMPTON — Although Patrick Brown probably should be premier of Ontario today it turns out he now has an even a better job.
And not just as Brampton’s chief magistrate but his new role as a father.
Don’t just call him Mr. Mayor. Call him dad.
Little Theodore Joseph Gualtieri Brown certainly will.
The mayor and wife Genevieve are celebrating the birth of their son who was born weighing 7 pounds and 3 ounces on July 19 under the care of Dr. Karima Ben Omran and the amazing group at the Brampton Civic Hospital.
“The greatest day of my life,” Brown said in an exclusive interview this week with his wife and their son inside Brampton’s famous Gage Park. “I just love this little guy and his mother so much.”

With Councillor Michael Palleschi stepping in as acting mayor, Brown is taking “a lighter schedule” for the rest of the month to spend with his new family.
Well, sort of lighter.
“Despite the lack of sleep and 28 diaper changes in the first four days I can say becoming a father for the first time in my life is just incredible,” he told myself and photographer Stan Behal who, like me, is thrilled for the venerable Brown.
No one is happier than the beaming Brown!
“Your life changes in an instant when you are responsible for someone,” he said.
Brown’s life certainly has changed from a year and a half ago when he was leading in the polls to march the Ontario Progressive Conservatives into the June 2018 election and he became embroiled in scandal alleging inappropriate behaviour with females — behaviour he denied and later was shown to be overblown.
He was, however, forced to step down as leader and his up-and-coming political career and life were suddenly in turmoil.
Rough times.

Then along came his new wife Genevieve, the opportunity to run for mayor of Brampton and now the birth of his son.
It’s quite a comeback for Brown who in my estimation didn’t deserve being caught up in what was really a nasty power coup that went way beyond what it ever should have.
Strangely, it was the best thing that ever happened to him. He loves being mayor of Brampton and is thrilled to take on his new role of husband and dad.
“I think God always has a reason for everything,” he said. “If I looked at a year and half ago I probably would have been depressed. But the fact these events — as ugly, negative and nasty as they were — that course and journey took me to a city that needed leadership, allowed us to focus on our relationship, get married and have a baby.”
He wouldn’t change a thing.
The irony is if not for that dark period, he would not have the overwhelming positive things he’s enjoying now.
“We absolutely love Brampton and are so thrilled to be able to raise Theodore here,” he said.

Calling him “the strongest man I know,” Genevieve said she’s so excited to be a new mom and be in Brampton which has been so embracing.
“Look at what our love has brought,” she said.
So will one day tiny Theodore follow in her dad’s footsteps into politics?
“Absolutely not,” she said laughing. “Not a chance.”
He’ll leave that to dad who admits he’s got a better perspective and appreciation for where his life is at now.
Brown loves working hard for the people of Brampton who “have shown us so much love” but admits before “I was foolish to be so focused on politics when it doesn’t compare even one iota to the happiness of a strong marriage and the love of our little guy.”
Who needs being premier of Ontario? Not Patrick Brown who now has a more important job.
