Don Richardson a scam artist, tax cheat and seems a murderer may be the one responsible for the deaths of the couple.

Belize’s wild-west real-estate market behind murders?

Hard to believe that Belize has the same head of state that Britain and Canada have.

How many Canadians disappeared by going to Baffin Island to watch the lights, natural and otherwise? No a fuking one and that doesn't make the news. Perhaps the tourist business that serviced North Korea is looking for a kinder location. The plateau could be made bear-proof, or not, depending on the desired outcome. Suicide on national tv and the family get a year of provisions. Man vs man vs bear vrs cold vrs etc. Where do I sign up?

You do know that is the closest launch site that is 2nd hole through the radiation belt right? The first one is way, way south. I also do science fiction in my spare time. Not as good as the banksters but then it has a budget of $0 so far. Perhaps I got dropped off in the wrong century or business venture visions are not for the timeline where you could make it a reality. If that was a reality it would sure such to be affected by it eh?? Would you care for a Hudson Bay highball, best ice in the Americas, Si??

Cops hold tongue in Matus murder
Six months later, family Belize cops keep family in dark
By Brad Hunter, Toronto Sun
First posted: Friday, October 13, 2017 01:40 PM EDT | Updated: Saturday, October 14, 2017 12:52 AM EDT
Francesca Matus was big-hearted, attractive and smart.
At 52, the world appeared to be the Keswick real estate investor’s oyster.
But in a lonely sugar cane field in Belize, her life came to a brutal end that was horrifying in its cold and calculating manner.
Matus and her American boyfriend, former U.S. Marine Drew Devoursney were found strangled to death on April 30.
Nearly six months later, the investigation is in shambles: No arrests, no suspects, missing police paperwork and a climate of terror in tiny Corozal.
And the cops aren’t saying a thing.
In an exclusive interview with the Toronto Sun, Matus’ family say police won’t accept — or return — their phone calls, and offer only a shrug on who was behind the slayings that carried all the earmarks of a professional hit.
But with a sickeningly personal touch.
“We’re totally in the dark. That’s the issue,” the family member — who asked not to be identified — told the Sun. “No one gets back to you. Our feeling is that the cops know who did this, a lot of people do, but they’re afraid.”
Hovering in the background of the tragedy has been an American developer who has allegedly run roughshod over locals, the ex-pat community in Corozal and the cops.
Yet, the family member said Francesca had no dealings with the man as far as he knows.
And even if she did, the Matus family wouldn’t know because authorities in the violent Central American country are dawdling at handing over the mother of two’s financial records.
“Everything is speculation. We definitely know robbery was not the motive, but what the reasons were, we don’t know,” the relative said.
“Francesca didn’t have an enemy in the world.”
The murders occurred just eight hours before the fun-loving Matus was slated to fly home to Toronto. In her posh beach house were her keys, passport, money and luggage.
“She didn’t have any business in Belize that we know of. She’d go down there just to chill out and not much else,” the relative added.
The Matus family source said they were in constant contact with Francesca. And if there had been anything wrong or untoward, she would have told them.
In addition, the family scoffs at any notion that her tenant, Barrie-native John Deshaies was involved.
But Deshaies did have issues with the elderly American mogul, who cracked a beer bottle over his head at local ex-pat boozer, Scotty’s Crocodile Cove.
Charges were supposed to be laid but two sources told the Sun the paperwork has miraculously vanished in a “the dog ate my homework” scenario.
The shattered family says their last contact with Belize cops was Aug. 21.
“It was the typical runaround,” he said.
In the end, money trumps nearly everything in Belize, the relative added.
“People can be bought very easily down there. They’ll do anything for money,” the relative said, adding that the conviction rate in Belize is a paltry 3%.
As for Francesca Matus’ financial dealings, York Regional Police sorted her Canadian matters for the family in three hours.
In Belize, it’s almost seven months — and counting.
“Francesca didn’t have any beefs with anyone. That’s what makes it so tough,” the relative said. “People there (the population is just 9,000) know what happened, but they’re terrified to talk.”
He added: “But the same name keeps coming up.”

Jordan Bacchus, 28, is wanted by cops in Belize for a May 2016 murder and by Toronto Police for a February 2017 armed robbery and its believed he was arrested during a drug bust by Greater Sudbury Police on Friday, Feb. 2, 2018.Toronto Police handout
A Toronto man, sought for murder in Central America, was nabbed along with a woman during a drug bust in Northern Ontario on Friday.
Greater Sudbury Police say it turns out the accused man is wanted for armed robbery by Toronto cops and has been sought by homicide investigators in Belize for nearly two years.
Officers executed a search warrant at a residence on Kelvin St., Drug Squad Det.-Sgt. James Killeen said in a statement released Saturday, explaining a man and a woman from Toronto were arrested.
During the raid, he alleges officers seized 384.45 grams of cocaine and 10.46 grams of “purple heroin,” which is heroin mixed with the extremely potent opioid fentanyl, with a total street value of about $45,000.
Cops also seized $25,000 in cash along with other evidence, including digital scales, detailed debt lists and a money counting machine.
“The male will answer to the charges in Sudbury and then will be transported to Toronto on his outstanding warrant for (armed robbery, extortion and other charges),” Killeen said. “Toronto (Police) will then commence the extradition process with Belize regarding the outstanding first-degree murder charge.”
Killeen has not released the accused man’s name or details of the killing he is sought for.
However, sources confirm a man named Jordan Bacchus, 28, has been sought by Toronto Police for robbery and extortion since February 2017.
Bacchus is also wanted by cops in Belize for the brutal killing of Melvin Almendarez in May 2016.
The San Pedro Sun has reported the 31-year-old local athlete was shot to death and then run over by a golf cart.
Bacchus was taken into custody at the time on drug charges but was released 48 hours later.
A week later investigators issued a warrant for his arrest in connection with the murder but by then it’s believed Bacchus had fled the country and returned to Canada — even though he had surrendered his passport to cops.
“We were able to find clothing with blood at his residence; his golf cart had blood underneath as well,” Henry Jemmott, deputy officer in charge of the San Pedro Police Sub-Formation, previously alleged to the San Pedro Sun.
Bacchus’ hands also allegedly tested positive for gun powder residue at the time.
