New Rogers Customer

Hi, Iv'e got a new phone with a number and contract from Rogers couple of days ago. My sim card is not active yet as well as the phone. It is no rush for me as I am still using my other phone but I wonder when Rogers start charging its clients, uppon activation or right after the purchase. Does anybody know? Thanks.

Whoever sold you the phone didnt activate it right probably, go back to that store
