The verses are Christ's witness to creation. Ge:1 is God's witness, Ge:2 is that of the Holy Spirit as seen through Adam's eyes. The passage this is from explains why Christ is the one perfect judge and that is because He is the perfect witness as well.
The LORD possessed me in the beginning of his way,
before his works of old.
I was set up from everlasting,
from the beginning,
or ever the earth was.
When there were no depths,
I was brought forth;
when there were no fountains abounding with water.
Before the mountains were settled,
before the hills was I brought forth:
While as yet he had not made the earth,
nor the fields,
nor the highest part of the dust of the world.
When he prepared the heavens,
I was there:
when he set a compass upon the face of the depth:
When he established the clouds above:
when he strengthened the fountains of the deep:
When he gave to the sea his decree,
that the waters should not pass his commandment:
when he appointed the foundations of the earth:
Then I was by him, as one brought up with him:
and I was daily his delight,
rejoicing always before him;
Rejoicing in the habitable part of his earth;
and my delights were with the sons of men.
Now therefore hearken unto me,
O ye children:
for blessed are they that keep my ways.
and be wise,
and refuse it not.
Blessed is the man that heareth me,
watching daily at my gates,
waiting at the posts of my doors.
For whoso findeth me findeth life,
and shall obtain favour of the LORD.
But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul:
all they that hate me love death.
While he yet spake,
a bright cloud overshadowed them:
and behold a voice out of the cloud,
This is my beloved Son,
in whom I am well pleased;
hear ye him.
For as in Adam all die,
even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
But every man in his own order:
Christ the firstfruits;
afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.
Then cometh the end,
when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God,
even the Father;
when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.
For he must reign,
till he hath put all enemies under his feet.
The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.
For he hath put all things under his feet.
But when he saith all things are put under him,
it is manifest that he is excepted,
which did put all things under him.
So the angel that communed with me said unto me,
Thus saith the LORD of hosts;
I am jealous for Jerusalem and for Zion with a great jealousy.
Then answered Jesus and said unto them,
I say unto you,
The Son can do nothing of himself,
but what he seeth the Father do:
for what things soever he doeth,
these also doeth the Son likewise.
And the LORD said unto Moses,
Yet will I bring one plague more upon Pharaoh,
and upon Egypt;
afterwards he will let you go hence:
when he shall let you go,
he shall surely thrust you out hence altogether.
And men were scorched with great heat,
and blasphemed the name of God,
which hath power over these plagues:
and they repented not to give him glory.
And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven,
every stone about the weight of a talent:
and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail;
for the plague thereof was exceeding great.
Then the LORD rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the LORD out of heaven;
And they cast dust on their heads,
weeping and wailing,
that great city,
wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness!
for in one hour is she made desolate.
And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates;
and the water thereof was dried up,
that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared.
The one resurrection that happened in the OT was showing Christ how to make Eze:37 come true as part of Re:20:4. The exodus war saw the giants exterminated,that was because they were the keepers of the Law that God used in Ge:6 to judge the fallen angels of being in sin. The 3 wives of Noah's sons were female giants, that is how they survived. The children taken captive will have their families and nations restored as part of the 12 Tribes as they married into them.
Pretty much all of the Bible minus Ge:1-3 and Re:20-22 is about the two bruises from Ge:3:15. By the end of Judgment day all of Adam and Eve;as children are alive and the new earth era starts with a flourish of other flesh that is resurrected once some pastures exist.
The process is worth reading if you are curious about God.
