I was at his concert in Phoenix in '77.

He saved us from disco. Thanks, Bruce. And the Big Man is in rock 'n roll heaven.

I do believe. Man, you've got a memory like an elephant!

Also saw him in Boston and West Berlin. That last one was pretty weird.

I remembered because a couple of my co workers who loved Springsteen went to see him there at about the same time. Probably the same concert. I went there once and saw a fellow by the name of Shaun Phillips. I remember the revolving stage.

quite memorable as it also caused a panic like the 1938 broadcast - it was revised by the station three years later

I was raised on traditional gospel music. And although my beliefs have taken a different direction in the past ten years or so, I remember the good music I listened to growing up. I enjoyed the music then, and still do regardless of what I believe. Tonight I'm listening to ~Upon this Rock~ words and music and performed by Allison Durham Spear.

Eva was a wonderful singer. I listened to a couple of her tunes a while ago. Also, I love Izzy's (Izrael Kamakawiwo) version of "What A Wonderful World". What a lovely man he was and is gone now, too.

Now I am listening to CBC radio 2.

My sister who we lost in 2012 liked his version too. Her favorite though was "over the rainbow"
