What is this fixation that Trump has for Putin.

There has to be some interesting history there.

Possibly but their perception of their best interests may not be the same as yours. When you live in the rust belt and see your jobs dissapearing to third world countries because they work for a bowl of rice a day and the multitudes of government employees getting big raises and solid gold pensions your perception of th American dream is somewhat different.

With due respect: bringing up Hillary and Bill or the Dems to compare or justify the unpresidential conduct of Trump does NOT fly. Each is accountable on their own merits and non merits.

Just like Trump blaming the Dems for the failure of the health bill. The real issue is that Trump is NOT a leader that brings people together to focus on the job at hand. Even his stupid tweets are childish and divisive. His tenancy towards secrecy is not part of what democracy should be. They have been closing ranks .......and that is not what the US constitution would indicate.

This is the Boneyard in Tucson, AZ. It's a real place filled with over 6 trillion dollars worth of planes, over 90% of which have never left the ground in military service. The most expensive plane in this photo cost taxpayers sixteen million dollars, and was never used by our military.

The new F-35 fighter will cost taxpayers more than 95 million dollars each, with a standing order for over 2,000 of these planes, an estimated 1.1 trillion dollars initial order.

Now, remember this photo and these numbers the next time they tell you we can't afford single payer healthcare for everyone. Remember this photo when they tell you that we can't provide affordable state financed education because it's too expensive.

In 10 years, there will be a boneyard just like this filled with 95 million dollar airplanes that never flew in combat, You will be 10 years older, your medical needs will be more advanced, and the costs will skyrocket... but we will have an airplane graveyard full of planes we never needed instead of medication and education.

Or does it matter??

At 6 months: Can Trump turn around his presidency?

His approval ratings are at 36 per cent.

That suggests that the people are not all that satisfied with his performance.

If he was YOUR employee, would you be satisfied with his performance an d productivity??

Would you keep an employee that was mired in as many issues and legal problems as this guy is??

Seems it is the US population is the body that "hired " him by voting him in.........and he is accountable to them;.......and the country.

Maybe a lot of people should focus on other things besides Trump. What we know about Trump is mainly what is fed to us by the media. How do we know that 95% of his day's work is stuff the media never gets involved with? I've quit paying attention to him. At 36% it certainly wouldn't be too hard for him to raise it a bit.

Will he become my new best friend?" Trump asked of Putin in a tweet wondering whether Putin would attend the 2013 Miss Universe pageant Trump brought to Moscow.

Donald Trump issued a statement after Putin praised the real estate mogul as a "talented person" and "the absolute leader of the presidential race."
"It is always a great honor to be so nicely complimented by a man so highly respected within his own country and beyond," Trump said in a statement. "I have always felt that Russia and the United States should be able to work well with each other towards defeating terrorism and restoring world peace, not to mention trade and all of the other benefits derived from mutual respect."

Trump halts covert arming of Syria rebels, a move likely to please Russia

https://www.washingtonpost.com/?wpis...Bnation&wpmk=1

Gotta wonder what else Trump might have promised Putin as reward for helping him win the presidency of the U.S.

Of course anything that does not fit into the Trump supporters world view is now framed as "fake news"

Now Trump has done another twist about Health care. His inconsistency is defining his presidency. The only aspect that is consistent is his loyalty to Putin but then Trump is in Putin's debt.

If he was as loyal to the american population that he is responsible for........ his presidency might take on a more professional and serious tone.

You are clairvoyant

Nice spin about the libs.

Seriouslyy: isn't that part of the issue now ..... the extreme partisanship. In the final analysis it matters little what party one favors.........as what matters is what is accomplished for the population. If Trump was a democrat ,he would still be an A hole.( to quote you . And it is well known that a-holeism trickles down from the leader right down to the lowly supporter . If a leader is smart, knowledgeable and competent....... that inspires confidence and that trickles down too.

about Justin....... Don't really want him to fill in any void. I prefer that Canada remain a quiet , unassuming, smart and developing country in the most humane , and scientific way. I would prefer it to be a bit more neutral than it is. But that is a challenge with the big bully to the south of us. Canada is still a young nation........ and it would not be wise to get too big for its britches. Hopefully it continues to learn from history....... but who knows. ?? There are nations in Europe that are wiser, more mature and more experienced. To bad that the UK went elitist and did the Brexit thing. They are just finding out about the consequences of that move. We are part of the commonwealth and that gives us connections of a "family" so to speak . That is a positive thing. We are not a loner , or think that we can function all a lone and by ourselves in a world that is so interconnected now. Countries that isolate don't do as well. and become delusional about their own importance.
