Engerland applied an interesting strategy. You're down 2-1 in the last 10 minutes, so you fail to convert a PK and then pull a red card.

Of course, the Women's Football World Cup hasn't really caught the imagination here. Nobody, apart from the MSM, is interested. We prefer football played by men, as intended.

The real interest in England currently lies in the Cricket World Cup - cricket is England's national summer sport. England have just reached the semi-final for the first time since 1992 after beating New Zealand. They'll pay either India or Australia in that semi-final.

Women’s soccer is men’s soccer in super slo-mo. US women’s team lost to a team of 15 year old boys in Dallas.
