The car was crap but that engine was a perpetual motion machine (as long as you didn't have to start in in an ice fog and you didn't have a Bic pen to jam into the automatic choke).

They don't make engines.

1.A motor converts electrical energy into mechanical energy while an engine converts various other forms of energy to mechanical energy.
2.An engine is a mechanical device that uses a fuel source to create an output.
3.The word “engine” is generally used to refer to a reciprocating engine (steam or internal combustion) while “motor” is generally used to refer to a rotating device such as an electric motor.
4.An engine is made up of pistons and cylinders while a motor is made up of rotors and stators.

It sure as heck wasn't GM. They're hard pressed to make a car that struggles to go 200,000 km.

Especially a luxury car

Its crazy that a Tesla S could go over a million klicks. NO other luxury maker would ever consider making a product that robust.

People who buy uber luxury cars do not want to own them for years and years. They want to have them a couple of years the get a newer better model.

When are you going to man up, sell the minivan and buy an electric penis?

The current Mercedes-Benz High Mileage champ is Gregorios Sachinidis, a Greek taxi driver who holds the known record of more than 2.8 million miles in his 1976 Mercedes-Benz 240D.

lol

2.8 million miles and no maintenance!

It all makes sense when only white people face discrimination and climate change is a hoax.

bTW do you remember where that 200,000 mile limit for gas engines came from? since it was from you?

Thank you Dex. I will go with the one with the extra compression ring. You can go back to your bridge now.

Tesla builds all their vehicles from the ground up to be all electric. This means there is no gas engine. In a technical sense, a Tesla still does have an engine, as an engine is any machine that converts power into motion, but generally, when referring to an all-electric vehicle, you would call it a motor.Mar 2, 2018

There's a battery holder under the driver's seat that holds 17,982 "AAA"s.

If you put one in the wrong way around, though, you are knackered and will have to fly in a Tesla technician from their secret lab in Area 51.

AAAs eh? What happened to the 18650s? Your dad abandoned them too?

It is actually area 49 1/2 but no one is supposed to know that.
