Carbon experts say carbon pollution chooses to only carbonically melt West Antarctica via carbon heating, not geothermal heat flux. 80+% ice in E Antarctica

Parts of southern Queensland, Australia were blanketed by snow Thursday and Friday in what was considered by some the region's most significant snowfall in three decades.

Up to eight centimeters – roughly three inches – of snow were reported in the far south of Queensland, near the border of New South Wales, according to the Australian Bureau of Meteorology (BoM).

Children were seen enjoying the rare treat of throwing snowballs in the town of Stanthorpe, about 215 kilometers southwest of the Queensland coastal capital of Brisbane, according to Network Ten.

BoM senior meteorologist Sam Campbell told the Australian Broadcasting Corporation that, other than a five-centimeter snowfall in 2007, this may have been the state's biggest snowfall since 1984.

Granite Belt Wine and Tourism Centre supervisor Karan Orr told The Brisbane Times people had jammed into the region around Stanthorpe hoping to see the rare sight of snow.

Stanthorpe's elevation is about 811 meters or 2,661 feet above sea level, making it one of the cooler locations in Queensland. However, Stanthorpe is situated at 28.7 degrees South latitude, putting it about the same distance from the equator as Orlando, Florida.

It only snowed because the earth is warming.

Or maybe not.

That depends on where you live Walter. I still own my power company as a Crown. My power bill may have went up 40% to pay for CO2 capture and an updated grid but we used to import CO2 from a syngas plant in ND to pump into oil fields to extract more oil and the grid comes in handy for those ON Govt subsidized whirly gig companies that came here to exploit wind which means I'm not investing in another power plant to run industry like oil, potash and steel making. Remember the good old days when steel was made in ON?

If CO2 was truly behind warming it would never flatline as CO2 increases. That is a stone cold fact.

EPA CO2 regulations are not about climate change. The game plan is to control the energy sector & harm Red states.

Air Force One will emit 354,585 lbs. of carbon dioxide to get Obama to the Arctic to warn about global warmng.

Any idea about the total weight of fuel used? Somehow a pound of fuel see,s to make more than a pound of CO2 when burned.

Big Evil NG LLC and fracking galore. GE NG gas turbine powerplants, GE NG gas turbine locomotives, GE gas turbine oil tankers and GE NG to CNG facilities out the yin yang.

Oops almost forgot GE Nuclear and of course GE wind.

Nobody but nobody gets more green subsidies than GE

They just ignore such things like fabricating data. There are billions at stake which is the only thing that keeps this scam alive. A cash windfall.

The IPCC and East Anglia were summarily convicted in the Court of public opinion as evidenced by the reality that no one pays them any attention any longer

If their deliberate and planned program of misleading (essentially defrauding) the global scientific community and getting caught isn't obvious enough for ya'll, then we don't have much to talk about.
