Schools are opening in Alberta in September as of right now. It will be up to the parents as to whether or not they allow their kids to attend.

The unions aren't in power in Alberta. The UCP is. If it was up to the unions, the ndp would still be in power. In fact, the UCP has enacted legislation that requires unions to get permission from its members to use membership dues for political purposes. The majority of union members, in Alberta, have approved of this legislation. So, again, the unions don't run alberta.
