Re: COVIDD-19 'Pandemic'

So what you are saying is: The lockdown there has worked.
Doesn't seem that way to me.

Sweden still has a higher 7 day working average of deaths per million than Belgium Karl.

Re: COVIDD-19 'Pandemic'

It was working.

Then a selfish azz of a doctor did not follow protocols. He left the province - lying to do so - and did not isolate when he came back. Instead he went to work.

Now we've a rise in cases.

Lockdown works, but people have to do their part too.

Not that you would get that though, you don't give a crap about anyone but yourself.
BRAVO!!!

What he promotes is reckless stupidity. He seems to WANT more and more people to get infected.

The doctor in question should have his licence put on pause. It was totally reckless, and against the oath he took.

And yes... your province was doing very well......... so this is particularly bad.

Why are you looking at the averages over just the last seven days? Is that because it suits your agenda?

It makes more sense to me to compare averages over the whole of the pandemic. But that's just me, maybe. You know - normal.

So if you leave your province and travel a mile in doing so, that's bad, but if you travel 100 miles within your own province, that's okay?

Congrats on not even reading up on the situation.

Doctor left the province. Lied in doing so and instead of a professional reason, it was personal. He went to Montreal, a hotspot.

Got infected.

Came back.

Said nothing and did not quarantine as he was supposed to.

Spread it to others INCLUDING his kid, other medical people including a long term care worker.

That ONE PERSON has infected 8 so far, with people in ICU. That number may rise as more people test.

Had he 'traveled 100 miles in province', then yes, likely he wouldn't have gotten Covid at all because we've had little - less than 2 - to no cases for weeks. And THOSE people instantly quarantined.

People are demanding his license be revoked, yes.

He can no longer work at the hospital in his area at least.

Honestly not sure what his idea was. What gets me is the elderly and the kids he's put at risk, especially with the Kawasaki like illness the kids are showing up with now. That is seriously bad stuff...

As usual you spins things to suit your preconceived notions. Your anti lock down attitude is preventing you from seeing this as a health crisis.....based on a highly infectious virus. All you seem to care about is your self and what you think are restrictions on your life , beliefs, etc. You could careless ab out the people who have suffered horribly from this virus and the multitude that have died.

It's also true if you look at the per capita deaths over the last day or the last six hours.

What a load of hogwash.

You should be looking at the average deaths over the whole pandemic, not looking at the average number of deaths over a silly period of time because it suits your agenda.

Why don't you show us how Sweden fares over the WHOLE pandemic? Or don't you dare because it'll blow away your world?

It doesn't seem like you've thought this through.

In England, we are no longer limited in how far we can travel, even though we are worse hit than you. But when we were, each person was barred from travelling over a set number of miles from where they lived.

You, on the other hand, have decided to ban travelling from one province to another, which means you can get into trouble for travelling one mile into a neighbouring province, yet you are allowed to travel 100 miles within your own province.

Just checked again.

Sweden is higher than Belgium and its Nordic neighbours Karl.

Over what? Seven days? 72 hours? Ten minutes?

I'll ask again: Where does Sweden rank over the whole pandemic (you know, the NORMAL way of looking at it, not some period of time cherry-picked for your own convenience)?

Yes. Each province has a different level of out break. Each province is managing their own and trying to contain it within their won borders. Remember each province is the size of a good sized country....... going by European standards.

So you can travel 100 miles within your own province, but you can't travel just one mile into a neighbouring province.

Genius...
