Re: COVIDD-19 'Pandemic'

For the second straight day, Brazil leads the World in new COVID cases, overtaking the United States. In fact, all South American countries are seeing huge spikes in cases.

Brazil: 26,788 deaths - out of a population of 211 million.

India and Russia are still seeing over 7,000 cases/day, but in the cases of India, it could be much worse. Canada had less than 1,000 new cases, the first time this has happened in two months.

A lot less new cases, per capita, than Canada.

Re: COVIDD-19 'Pandemic'

To quickly recap - the provinces received about $500 million from the feds long ago for the healthcare expenses of the covid hoax.

But they used that for masks and hand sanitizer etc.

None of it got to the old folks homes

Now they need more federal money for the old folks homes

Because Big Liberal Government is here to pay for everthing.

Old Folks homes are privately run. Certainly you aren't suggesting government money for private enterprise? Won't it make the rich richer or something?

England, the Land of the Free!

How the four main jurisdictions of the UK compare with their respective lockdowns:

Some people are obviously too stupid to realize that "freedom" is a misnomer anytime it interferes with or restricts the freedom of others, in other words "selfish sods"! :)

And just like that, because of one azzhole doctor who lied and did not properly quarantine himself, parts of NB are going back to more restrictions and there's an uptick in people infected, because he didn't tell anyone and went about his job.

That's how fragile things still are. For weeks we've had good numbers, one case here and there... and now this. And with people in the ICU, and one of the newer patients being from a long term care home... the numbers could increase a lot suddenly.

Needless to say, the doctor was suspended from the hospital he worked at.

I think the saddest part is this irresponsible jerk also has a child infected, and the child went to 2 daycares, exposing the kids there.

It was working.

Then a selfish azz of a doctor did not follow protocols. He left the province - lying to do so - and did not isolate when he came back. Instead he went to work.

Now we've a rise in cases.

Lockdown works, but people have to do their part too.

Not that you would get that though, you don't give a crap about anyone but yourself.

And if you're going to keep the lockdown going whenever someone breaks it, then you'll be in lockdown forever, living permanently in a fascist regime.

Good luck...

oh for goodness sake. That is the most Stupid remark you have made to date. The situation in question has to do with Irresponsible behavior of a person who should know better. You selectively just miss the point and promote your anti lock down crap....which is irresponsible in the first place.

I agree. But take them over then put money into them.
Hoid seems to have a hard on for Air Canada getting money. Wondering why he suggests these private companies should have got money here.

He likes to pick winners and losers.

Plus Air Canada doesn't buy Tesla planes that run on moonbeams.

I for one do not want either to fail.

So what you are saying is: The lockdown there has worked.

Doesn't seem that way to me.

It worked.

The province was opening up.

Parts of it still are. My area still is. The North now is subject to more restrictions.

Because of one selfish ass.

And considering the number of cars from out of province, we're not in 'lockdown' that much.

So...

Damn, you must really hate being so wrong.
