Here's a notion. There's about 263 million motor vehicles in the U.S. Wouldn't this be a great time to replace 'em all with electric cars, trucks, buses, and motorcycles? At government expense?

Heck, at 20,000 bucks apiece (volume discount) that'd only be a hair over five trillion!

We're used to deficits that big now.

Are you absolutely certain that Trump can be counted on to not make the best deal with a Japanese manufacturer?

Probably the coolest thing about owning a Tesla is that every so often they upgrade the software and you get a new car again.

https://electrek.co/2020/05/19/tesla-bidirectional-charging-ready-game-changing-features/

Bi directional charging has long been discussed as a possible option. For power grids all those charged battery packs represent a large pool of energy that can be tapped into as required. For users it represents a way - along with a smart charging station - to fill'er up at night when electric usage is low and cheap and then use it in your house during the day when electric usage is high and expensive.

Tesla incresing capital expenditures 62% this year?

I wonder what other auto-makers are expanding their business 62% this year? Building factories and such.

What happened to the electric care James Dyson was developing with 500 million of his own money?

Asking for a friend.

Sounds like it will reduce the useable life of the battery... Nothing like paying thousands to replace it whilst letting the grid use you for free storage.

Sucker

Because they are moving to Texas?

Subsidies for EVs are gone.. Musk had better be expecting a massive drop in sales
