You sound desperate are you sure you've got enough Canesten?

Why do you ask?

If I feed large doses of it to Wexit Wingnuts - will it calm them down and make them MORE SANE?

You DO KNOW that Joe Biden just put ANOTHER NAIL into the coffin that Wexit Wingnut dreams are being BURIED IN!

Biden has just announced that if he is elected he will REVOKE all the approvals for the Keystone XL pipeline!

If Biden wins - there will be NO GRAND NEW CALGARY CAMELOT by the Bow!

Bined is determined to be as BIG A NUISANCE to Wexit Wingnuts as Trudope already is!

Oh well - another day and another failed illusion for Wexiteers!

The problem is that we have never gotten a fair or logical deal from Ottawa regardless of who is in power. It is unlikely we will until the way we elect representatives is fixed to address the power imbalance. Quebec separatists for the most part don't want out either. They know they have a good deal. What they are doing is protecting their ill gotten gains.
The West needs at least as much sovereignty as native bands get.

NEVER HAD A FAIR DEAL?

Oh you poor sad baby!

You are so right in what you said. The West has never and will never get a fair deal from da french controlled Attawa. There should be equal representation in the senate but that will never happen if Ontario and Quebec gets their way. Even Harper had the opportunity to do so with his majority and he failed miserably.

The West will never win with the east and the West should get the hell out of Canada. But even then, Quebec will fight like hell to see that does not happen believe it or not. The french are nothing more than a bunch of leeches sucking whatever they can out of the rest of Canada, especially Alberta. It is for sure that french speaking only Quebec will never separate from Canada. It is Canada that must separate from french speaking only Quebec.

Who or why the phuk does the rest of Canada need french speaking only Quebec to stay in Canada is beyond me. The only sovereignty that Alberta will ever see or get is if they finally decide to separate from the rest of french controlled Attawa, and the french controlled Attawa will fight tooth and nail to try and make sure that Alberta never does separate. If that ever happens then there goes the money from Alberta. But I doubt that there are enough Albertan's prepared to want to separate from french controlled Canada. Those Albertan's still love that french dildo being shoved up in their you know where and what. For now, Albertan's can still enjoy their daily shafting and living in french controlled Canada. Ouch!!

The west's biggest flaw is admirable, they care about the rest of Canada. If they cared less, they would push back.

But people in the West never seem to learn or get it that Eastern Canada could careless about the west. I was born in the east, and we always thought of westerners as nothing more than a bunch of yahoo cowboys. Now my opinion from living in the west for decades now is that the people in the east are nothing more than a bunch of leftist lieberal morons and retards. Yahoos living out west and morons and retards living in the east. Pretty funny, eh?

But I doubt very much that Alberta will ever separate from Canada. Why? Because the more new third world immigrants that keep coming to Canada, and living and moving out west, the more they would rather vote for Alberta to stay in Canada rather than Alberta leave Canada. If the people of Alberta do want to separate from Canada well they better do it very soon otherwise once the new third world immigrants start growing in numbers the less chance host Albertan's will have to separate from Canada. It is now or never. Just saying.

Wow.... 4 straight posts ranting and raving.

Petros is right, your dusty old vag is making you irritable, try the caneston he suggested.

Oh dear me!

The Wexit Wingnuts are ANGRY because they cannot think of any logical response to my comments!

So - you are telling me that a new western govt will be so BEREFT of eloquence and insight

that they will have to resort to crude reference to female monthly cycles just to come up with a retort!

In related news - did you hear that Joe Biden HAS SWORN to tear up the approvals that have been granted for the expansion

of the Keystone pipeline if he wins the election in November!

Your grand dream of free and easy negotiations with LIE-beral govts eager to buy the Wexit oil

is turning into a NIGHTMARE!

It grieves me that Canada should suffer that way but on the plus side - there is reason to hope

that Our idiot Boy and his loser LIE-berals will SOON BE GONE - like in spring 2021!

McLean`s Magazine has ALREADY floated an article about how it might be wise for Our idiot Boy to call a SNAP ELECTION

in the NEAR FUTURE! You know - BEFORE all the Wuhan Pestilence bills come due!

Here you are in an IMPOSSIBLE POSITION!

You DONT WANT to be a Cdn any more - but you are HEAVILY INVESTED in the future welfare of Canada!

I think of the old saying that "Those whom the Gods would destroy, they first make MAD"!

There are a LOT of crazy people in govt these days!

Oh well................better times coming ...........if we live long enough to see them!

Terence Corcoran: The 'resilience' ploy to seize the economy

The meat of the article which should open everyone's eyes

By definition, resilience is the ability to bounce back from a destructive crisis. As a political force, the resilience movement’s plan is to lift the economy out of the deep lockdown hole into which global politicians have deliberately thrown us by having the same politicians take control of the economic wreckage they have created so as to re-engineer the whole system.
New “resilience” efforts are emerging daily around the world. Last week the newly formed Canadian “ Task Force for a Resilient Recovery ” declared its objectives : “The Task Force will make actionable recommendations on how governments can use a range of tools — including direct public investment, leveraging private capital, targeted tax cuts and incentives, regulatory sandboxes (to enable innovation), and behavioural ‘nudges’ — to spur jobs and generate lasting economic activity while also helping to build a clean and resilient economy.”
Task force members include former Justin Trudeau aide and WWF radical Gerald Butts, the Ivey Foundation’s ubiquitous Bruce Lourie, and Stewart Elgie, head of the Smart Prosperity Institute, a sustainable-green advocacy organization that seems to get a lot of funding from governments.
Another new Canadian resilience group is behind the 2020 Declaration for Resilience in Canadian Cities, organized by former Toronto city planner Jennifer Keesmaat and signed by a collection of former Toronto mayors and dozens of academics and activists. “The COVID-19 pandemic provides a once-in-a lifetime responsibility to accelerate the change we require in Canadian cities.” Proposals including building more public housing, restrictions on urban sprawl, mass expansion of bike lanes, a moratorium on expressways including those now under construction, electric car mandates, a 40 per cent urban tree canopy, etc. etc.
The European Union’s official science hub recently produced a paper titled “ Time for transformative resilience: the COVID-19 emergency .” The objective of the paper is to seize the lockdown as a call to action. “The current COVID-19 emergency seems to be warning governments worldwide that new crises of unforeseeable nature are likely to emerge, as the combination of environmental degradation, societies with increasing inequalities and deep economic interconnections have made the world more vulnerable. In these circumstances, ensuring the resilience of our society is crucial.”
The climate hand-wringers at the World Economic Forum on Tuesday published a commentary titled “5 ways entrepreneurs and SMEs can build resilience in a coronavirus economy.” The authors warned that “the next shift is sure to come whether it is in the form of a pandemic, extreme weather, forest fires or rising seas.” ………...More
