Yes we are all in awe of how much resourcefulness, innovation and work ethic the capitalists are showing as they take the government handouts to save their worthless asses.

Inspiring.
Really ?

Who funds 'da gubmint'?... Any thoughts?
Anywho, don't forget to stock-up on your socialist produced marshmallows to cook over the embers of your former house.. But take heart, mayhaps socialism will provide a never-ending bounty of homes for ya what with the fires an all

I have stated several times that our socialist institutions are funded by capitalism. I believe you even gave me a green on that very statement.

I'll accept your apology if given but you're not much a man so I don't expect one.

So what do you call the thousand of volunteer FFs? Working for nothing is certainly not the socialist way.Would they be venture capitalists?

I call them volunteers. Nothing wrong with that, very common in rural areas. My Father in-law is one but if a house caught fire up there it's likely to burn to the ground before the first drop of water hits it.

This isn't just firefighting. Policing, parks, education, health, roads...etc.

All funded by capitalism which it also benefits from.

Every western capitalist country has some form of socialism.

Healthcare is a good example of the benefits of socialism.

All we need to do is compare ourselves to America to see how and why socialism is better-suited to provide this necessity than is capitalism.

Yep the rich pitch in the most and it trickles down from there.

You're not wrong there.... The dichotomy of a communist regime with among the purest capitalistic practices of any nation on the planet.
For a very limited part of the economy. The majority of the Chinese economy is government-commanded and/or heavily regulated, in a fashion that I do not think Adam Smith would regard as "capitalist."

Disincentives to pissing off the powers that be include a bullet in the back of the head.

Where did the government get that money in the first place? And how do they expect to repay it?
