The Bank of Canada says they’re working on plans for a new $5 bill, and they’ll be asking Canadians to nominate historic Canadians.

No way dude. Gord wasn't just a song writer, he was a freakin' poet. Just don't tell him what the poets are doing.

I return to Gord Downie.

When he was dying, just about everybody on this board, from all the sides, agreed that he was a uniter, loved by urban hipsters, Alberta roughnecks, and Territory outbackers equally.

Sounds like good choice to me.
