I wouldn't get out of bed for those rates. $40 + and bennies for operators. Couple of bucks more for trades.
A normal work week is a minimum of 50 hrs. Anything less is for government workers.and slackers.
Mill shutdowns. Most tradespeople won't go unless there is lots of OT. Even when we were building the Kitamat Smelter and it almost took an act of gawd to get more than 10 hrs we made good money because weekends and holidays are all double time.

Never. Never get triple at any time. Although depending on how you view it stats could be considered triple time, just doesn't show that way on pay stubs. We get a percentage on every cheque for stats an another for holidays.

And yet capitalism is simply supplying the mostly socialist workers with the things they want. No market, no capitalist. So who is creating the problem?
Capitalist and socialist 'systems' have consequences both desirable and undesirable for the individuals they affect. Sadly most people are unwilling to admit this, but make a religion of a single ideology - particularly if they are personally advantaged by it.
