They won't need to impeach him. He'll get the "heave-ho" in a couple of months, unless they manipulate the election result. It'll be hard to do that without someone spilling the beans, though and it would be grounds for his immediate arrest, if found out.
One is hard pressed to have ANY trust in that gang in Washington now. They are all in it for the power and Hanging on to the power for as long as possible....... There are no standards anymore. They are making up their own rules as the go along........while having a team of "lawyers" to deal with any flack. or blow-back. NOTHING would surprise me now.

The Republic is on a knife's edge. Trump just needs to declare the election result null and void and thus it ends.

The Roman Republic ended abruptly, too. Just look what relaced it.

and the way Donald operates.......he would not provide evidence for his claims........just repeat the claims and call anyone that questioned him....ugly names. Do as I say..........end of story. Very authoritarian. and currently abuse of presidential power...

and yet..........WHERE is the OUTRAGE?? Are the population in such a fearful state that they will go along with what ever is told to them now>>>> The psychology of this dynamic is fascinating So many cannot seem to see the bigger picture of what i s happening and could happen. Powerful denial system.

So,how do they overcome a President who has taken total control, claiming that a criminal Democrat conspiracy has rigged the election?

Hmmmm...

Military coup?

In 'Merica?

That is the very core of the question. The other question is " Do ;they WANT to?? Has the population become so complacent and jaded/ indifferent that they have lost the value systems that come under a democracy. Or are they so bored that they want something different.?/ Each election one hears the phrase : lookingfor soemthing different.........There seems to be a strong cultural factor involved .

I think they will need leadership of a Mayor Pete kind........who appeals to the young.....stimulates creative thinking, and gradually get rid of the fossils floating around washinton. Biden has a youthful perspective......to a degree.......and is sane. I am just free associating here........as this is very complex and concerning.
The US got too much power in too short a time.........and is abusing it.........with signs of national deterioration. The attitude of entitlement that is so prevalent........creates a blind spot in their self appraisal. They regurgitate "we are free, a free nation"........without considering the fact that they must live in a lot of fear due to the number of weapons they possess. If they are afraid.......they are not free......and are ripe for a radical change in regime. Authoritarian regimes can provide the illusion of security.........and the leader assumes a paternal role.

DHS Just Finally Recognized White Nationalism as a Major Terror Threat

Its the first time the department has placed major emphasis on countering the threat of white nationalism coming from inside the U.S.

Department of Homeland Security is finally, officially recognizing white supremacist terror as a major national security threat in the U.S. — a threat that’s coming from the inside.
Acting DHS Secretary Kevin McAleenan on Friday unveiled the department’s new counterterrorism strategy, which for the first time places major emphasis on countering the threat of white nationalism coming from inside the U.S.

The news will come as some relief for national security and extremism experts, who for years and with increasing urgency have sounded the alarm about the threat of white nationalist terror. After the Christchurch mosque attacks in March, President Donald Trump himself shrugged off the idea that white nationalist terror posed a major security threat. His administration has also defunded and dismantled DHS programs that were designed to counter violent extremism, including far-right extremism. At a House committee hearing earlier this week, experts stressed that the U.S. was woefully ill-equipped to counter the threat.

How Trump, Giuliani pressured Ukraine to investigate presidents rivals
New revelations about President Trumps efforts to influence Ukraine are fueling questions about whether he used his office to try to force a foreign country to take actions to damage his political opponents.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/poli...3fb4b0b_story.html?wpisrc=nl_headlines&wpmm=1

Let's see now: First he blatantly requests assistance from a foreign nation to get negative data on his main opponent in the last election........

Now he is BLATANTLY seeking assistance from another foreign nation for dirt on current potential opponent....

If that conduct is not illegal.....it should be. But in Trump-versse........rules exit to suit Donald ...

You mean like your birther bullshit?
Sidney blumenthalbilly and hillbilly and hitlarybillie's birtherbilly bullbillybillshit you mean.
;)

Two supporters of Hillary Clinton’s 2008 presidential campaign reportedly shared the claim that then-rival Barack Obama was not born in the United States and thus was not eligible to be president.

One was a volunteer in Iowa, who was fired, Clinton’s former campaign manager said Friday. The other was Clinton confidant Sidney Blumenthal, according to a former McClatchy Washington Bureau chief.
https://www.mcclatchydc.com/news/politics-government/election/article102354777.html

Sidney Stone Blumenthal (/ˈbluːmənθɔːl/; born November 6, 1948) is an American journalist, activist, writer, and political aide.

He is a former aide to President Bill Clinton; a long-time confidant[1] of Hillary Clinton, formerly employed by the Clinton Foundation

Report: Clinton Confidant Sidney Blumenthal Spread Birther Rumors in 2008 (Updated)

When you combine the report Blumenthal was saying Obama was born in Kenya with the fact that Clinton campaign did circulate a memo outlining plans to attack Obama's "lack of American roots," it doesn't seem far fetched that the Clinton campaign played a much bigger role in midwifing birtherism than they or the media would like to admit.

Gee, this is like shooting BLIND fish in barrel.
