Of course there are. The 0.0001%ers
That number will grow for 100 years or more. The US is starting to decline. How many of those people with money would leave with the money? Answer: All would.
As usual a capitalist forgets to include who is under economic sanctions when counting the rich.

Try reading the business news. Oil usage is rising worldwide. ANd we are not ony missing out on the payoff but being gouged at the pump because of myopic naval gazing politicians.
Why is the Alberta oil patch struggling so badly, then?

Incompetence?

The part I have to really laugh about re: CC's delight in the receivership of Petrocapita is the irony that yet another resource company will not be paying federal taxes that would have been directed to helping his failing provincial economy.

Add up the many mills that are closing in BC along with any decreased activity in forestry and mining and buddy surely will have a grin on his face all the way to the bankruptcy court with his failed business

Correct, incompetent and corrupt federal politicians are impacting the patch.
Funny though, although it's hurting, it's still the financial lifeblood of Canukistan

Can't be Notley.

No Albertans are ever to blame for the bad stuff but they take 120% of the credit for the good stuff.

If Alberta had the power there woiuld be at least two pipelines pumping oil to the coast for export and Energy East. Time to eliminate transfer payments to the east until this is rectified.
