Shall we count up the amount of diesel fuel and natural gas needed for the following: dig the foundations...................................

Dig up and manufacture the iron ore that was made into steel to reinforce the foundation and to produce the tower itself..........................
Produce a list of exotic and usually toxic chemicals needed to produce the carbon fibre wind blades......................................
Dig up and produce the MILES of aluminum wiring needed to hook up the wind tower to the main power grid................................
Produce MORE STEEL AND MORE CONCRETE for the support towers that carry the wiring..............................
Truck all this stuff to the work site.......................................
Then add in the carbon fuel cost of workers DRIVING daily to complete the installation since there IS NO PUBLIC TRANSIT on that stretch of highway 35....
Then consider the cost to bring in fire crews and engineers to get the mess under control and enure nobody from the public gets hurt.........................
Then more engineers to determine if the tower is salvageable or should be torn down.......................................
And the entire project LOOKS LIKE A HUGE GREEN FAILURE - and LIE-berals should be questioned intensively on that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why do LIE-berals consider it more environmentally dangerous to use pipelines to ship Alberta oil to Ontari-owe and Quebec than it is to run oil tankers up the Atlantic coast from Venezuela? Former prime minister Stephen Harper took a lot of flack for refusing to sign on to the Kyoto Accord because he considered it an ineffectual and costly waste of time- with the added bonus that it would cost Cdns major money in the form of carbon credits that would be purchased from corrupt third world countries so they could “reduce their carbon foot print”! But why have LIE-berals not explained HOW carbon credits will reduce third world use of carbon???????????

Most of the coal exported from Vancouver goes to China- with much of it used for steel production and no coal means no steel so that cannot be changed- but an increasing amount of that B.C. coal is used for electrical generation and could we not aid China to reduce air pollution by selling them cleaner burning natural gas for their power plants instead????????????????????
