Canada, like every other country in the world EXCEPT the USA, has price controls on prescription pharmaceuticals — and Canada’s prices are still some of the highest in the world. But cheaper than prices in the USA which does not have price controls rather it has a total free market and lets the vulture-capitalist BIG pharma gouge the public and prevent many from being able to afford the life saving medicine they need. Pharmaceutical companies spend more than any other industry to influence/buy politicians. On BOTH the Democrats and the Republicans. And now Trump wants Americans to head up to Canada and purchase our cheaper “socialist” pharmaceuticals.
