Why?
First, identifying as animals is more spiritual, but IF that is going to be an issue, well 1) that would go under a separate issue all together, 2) anyone who does ID as such would have to fight for that right like others have and 3) that has nothing to do with the gender spectrum so it is, IMO, a non-issue for the topic.
Kind'a like how people say being trans makes them toasters or some BS like that.

CBT is pretty much mandatory. As soon as blitzed by dope and stable it's into CBT and OT. How they engage in CBT is part of diagnosis. Life is miserable on the ward for those who refuse. Especially the smokers.
You may get a first timer to take their meds after that forget it. BP patients hate them with a passion so these days CBT is used to reduce relapse and manage symptoms and it works.
An involutary admission isn't getting out until they do the CBT if they are refusing meds.
Especially those with addictions. The same CBT is part of drug and alcohol treatment.
After discharge it's 6 weeks of day hospital. 6hrs of CBT and OT.
After that Community Health kicks in.
Maybe we should be asking some questions related to what makes LIE-berals THINK they should be considered the experts on transgender issues?????????????????
