No pipeline is going eliminate oil by rail.

You natty's need to work on your lying.

You don't seem to be putting much effort into it.

Antifa Tries to Blockade Ottawa-bound Pro-Pipeline Convoy outside Winnipeg | Keean Bexte

The RCMP apparently just let THAT happen...St. Lazare is only what, about 250 Km west of Winnipeg?

B.C.'s balanced budget includes more money for most families with children

https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/british-columbia/bc-budget-day-2019-victoria-1.5023978

New subsidies for families and the elimination of interest on student loans were the big announcements in what was primarily a status-quo budget delivered by the B.C. government on Tuesday.

Finance Minister Carole James announced the elimination of operating debt for the first time in 40 years, an estimated surplus of $274 million for 2019/2020, and a forecasted surplus of $374 million for the current fiscal year.

"British Columbia is thriving," said James.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It should be noted that the forecasts call for less money for firefighting. The last two years have been massively hot and expensive.

Not sure what economic levers Alberta can pull to try and force BC into accepting pipelines.

Maybe Alberta should look at the NDP here in BC and figure out a better plan for themselves.

OH HOID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How about we run all LIE-berals out of town on a rail next October?????????????????????????????

I am sure you would enjoy that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LIE-berals force the worst of both worlds onto us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In a desperate effort to save their economy - now that idiot LIE-berals have killed all pipelines- Alberta NDPers are forced to move oil by rail!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LIE-beral prevention of movement of oil by either pipeline or rail means economic RUIN for Alberta!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And we know you have no honest answer to that HOID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It would be far easier just to upgrade operating standards for pipelines..............................more regular maintenance means NO LEAKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But delusional LIE-berals would rather destroy the economy of an entire province than give up their vast GRAVY GRAB as required by the completely in-effectual CARBON CRAP AND TRADE TAX SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For LIE-berals it is all about the GRAVY and the environment can suck LIE-beral lemons!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The path the line was going to take will eventually be opened up as a major route to the Pacific. It will be along that route that towns will spring up as well as the local resources being uses as much as possible. There is enough history that there is a list of things that work and things that don't. Rather than the transition being a disaster in the future the 'heavy lifting is done at the beginning and the future needs very little maintenance as it is still 'wilderness with tourist trails'. That means catch and release waterways as well as lots of wildlife for pictures. People need to show up for this rather than it is built and the people will come. Maybe a million refugees would do it.

Union outcry as automation eats up 400 oilsands jobs – and it’s just the beginning

As Suncor Energy prepares to shed 400 jobs to prepare for the implementation of driverless ore-hauling trucks, the union representing workers at the company is publicly condemning the decision.

“Highly experienced and capable operators will always need to play a role in oilsands extraction, and it is a mistake to think otherwise,” said Jerry Dias, Unifor National President in a statement.
A Unifor representative also told Global News that the union has worked with Suncor to ensure that no permanent, full-time employees would be laid off
Driverless technology is only just starting to cause layoffs

The company has been testing the 400-tonne capacity Komatsu trucks for about four years and has nine now. It announced Tuesday it will gradually build a fleet of more than 150 driverless trucks over the next six years, starting with the North Steepbank mine at its Base Camp north of Fort McMurray, making Suncor the first oilsands mining operation to adopt this technology.

Thus the plan is to build a pipeline to save jobs that are not even there. A pipeline that can potentially destroy eco-tourism and other environmental resourced based jobs including salmon fishing... What's wrong with this picture?

The fact that Canada is losing a minimum of $80 million/day because it can't get it's oil to market efficiently.

What did Christie leave us with?

$16 billion BC Hydro debt?
You tell us the economic miracle underway in America obviously had it’s start under the previous administration , so the same must hold true in British Columbia . Christie must have left the province heading in the right direction economically .
