Perhaps it is important to examine what they are running from......... to get an insight into the horrors that they are leaving behind It is those horrors that must be corrected before people will want to stay there. Don't think any CDM pr American cam fully comprehend the horrors they are trying to escape from ........but are more than ready to JUDGE them

It is their gov't / leaderships that need to be dealt with....... so change can take place there.....

Their gov't has to do better for all........and create incentive NOT to leave.

Examine US history and its relations with Latin America, particularly Central America. The US is responsible for a good deal of the poverty and suffering that exists there. If it wants the poverty-stricken and terrorized population of Central America to stay where it is, perhaps it is time for the US to correct some of those wrongs.
exactly!! but no one talks about that part of the situation. Perhaps by correcting those wrongs.......... the population would not have the need to leave and bother Uncle SAm ....to the point to f military hysteria..
The US has a history and pattern of destroying areas.......... creating humanitarian disasters and then rejecting the people that they hurt so devastatingly. It is time for the US to take ownership of its previous behavior..... and stop band aid solutions. which are inhumane.

And the 2 of you are denying USSR involvement in the area at the same time frame, both are equally to blame

Immigration propaganda is the bedrock of trump presidency.

He was elected by the fearful to take care of Mexican rapists and bad hombres.

There is no issue more important to right America than colored foreigners and how to hide from them.

How do you propose they go about correcting the wrongs?

desperation can make folks do things that are not totally legal.

again....... issuing threats like Trump is doing...... The y might try to help relieve the suffering in that part of the world.........( that the US contributed to anyhow)..........and prevent the need to leave the area. deal with the ROOT of the problem..........not the symptom.

The root of the problem is that the country is virtually under control of violent criminal gangs like MS-13 and the Barrio 18. How would you deal with these type of people? What kind of help could be offered to Honduras in order to rid the country of these vermin?

Rep. Gohmert Assures Lou Dobbs 'It's Not Anti-Semitic To Criticize George Soros'
So the 4M guys that said that so far were right after all?

What is the world coming to??

Almost takes my breath away it does.

The professor made the remarkable claim in a tweet, which has since been deleted, on Saturday, drawing condemnation and ridicule.
Professor Kees van der Pijl is being investigated by Sussex University for seemingly accusing Al-Qaeda* of being a front for Mossad and blaming Israel for 9/11.
The academic shared an article by conspiracy theory platform Wiki Spooks, alleging the Israeli government orchestrated the September 11 attacks with “help from Zionists in the US government.”
The tweet was quickly met with backlash, promptly him to delete it, and netizens mocked the professor with GIFs and sarcastic comments.
“And Elvis left the Twin Towers before impact. Idioot!” a user tweeted in response to Professor van der Pijl’s post.
Others accused him of being anti-Semitic, though he defended his actions, insisting he was only criticizing Mossad and PM Benjamin Netanyahu’s Likud Party.
“If criticism of the hardline Likud and the Mossad, for which by now millions have died and several countries wrecked, is ‘virulently anti-Semitic’, then I am guilty,” he wrote.
Sussex University has said they are investigating the matter and are yet to decide if they will take disciplinary action against the professor, who formerly served as head of the university’s international relations department.
The same article was cited by Church of England vicar Reverend Dr. Stephen Sizer in 2015, on Holocaust Memorial Later, and was forced to swiftly apologize for his “insensitive” comments.
*Al-Qaeda is a terrorist organization banned in Russia and many other countries.

Explain to me who told you the U.S. should be forced to open its borders to these people?
They will go back and take over all the Company Farms that still have all the best land. Only the French throw up their hands in despair and surrender to 'overwhelming odds'. Their term, not mine.

Considering they're still months FROM the border, you can't say what they're going to do when they get there. FFS, some of these people may not even get to the border, considering what's going on.
And proof please that any liberals are sending funds to help the caravan? Real proof, not some right wing BS tripe.

A little more proof

Caravan migrants seek shelter in Mexico City as 'Caravan Election' underway in US

The leading migrant caravan pushing its way toward the U.S. border is hunkering down in Mexico City on Tuesday, as Americans head to the polls with the contentious group -- and the equally combustible immigration issue -- on their minds.

A Fox News crew traveling with the caravan was told this morning that 4,000 migrants slept last night inside the Jesus Martinez stadium in tents, on bleachers and under tarps -- and another 1,000 are reportedly still en route Tuesday. The caravan – which has become a key talking point for President Trump in the final lead-up to Tuesday’s midterm elections -- is expected to stay in the stadium for a few days. While there, members of the group are receiving advice from Mexican federal officials and Central American embassy workers on topics related to their future, including medical care, work permits and legal matters.

If they weren't financed why would they stop for a few days until the dust settles from the election and why are they debating about talking to Mexican and originating country officials on options?
