Trump Admin. Tallies 289 Accomplishments In First 20 Months
https://www.oann.com/trump-admin-ta...ts-in-first-20-months-surpasses-reagan-admin/

Kinda reminds me of Mike Harris, make a promise keep a promise. MAGA

I found this comment in the article amusing: "According to the Washington Examiner, the president and his administration have tallied 289 accomplishments since his inauguration." What a joke - a liar surrounded by other liars tallied his "accomplishments."

‘Never give an inch’: Trump keeps touting perceived failures as successes

You can say what you like the relationship between Trump and the leader of N.K. are better than that of any U.S. President and the head honcho of N.K. since Harry Truman!

The Korean war began on 25 June 1950 when North Korea invaded South Korea. Harry Truman was in charge of the North Koreans cuz he started the war.

That is what bothers most foreign policy experts. Trump is far too friendly with murderous dictators and too unfriendly with liberal democracies.

they are about to pass a milestone where they will be spending more on interest on their debt than they spend on their military.

and their military actually has some tangible benefit

Watch in 2019 when he starts paying down debt. with the surplus he will accumulate this year. Would he be the first POTUS in history to pay down debt?

They all did it up until Reagan.

Since then only Clinton has done it.

And no, Trump will never have a surplus and he will never pay down the debt because that does not matter anymore.

Has he ?

Why has only Clinton paid down the debt? For the same reason that only Chretien/Martin paid down ours.

Most governments need the spending in order to buy the votes in order to get the power.

Very few governments have the strength to hang onto power while carrying out a unpopular economic austerity program. Most are like Bush and Harper who need massive spending.

I was in California in the 90s when Clinton was closing military bases left and right in order to reduce costs. Chretien/Martin carried out the same force reduction up here.

Hugely effective cost reduction but ultimately all in vain as the opposition party's campaigned against these cuts - won power - and just borrowed more.

Trump is the ultimate expression of this. He simply loads debt onto the public because what does he care what they owe?

The 1% are laying down the law.
