I disagree with Beto on this. He thinks Cruz was mistreated at a restaurant:

Republicans do evil things and then insist people not treat them as evil or treat them bad. They complain all the time about decorum and are democrats are being polite enough. That is stereotyping and a tool of psychopaths. The GOP would put Kavanaugh on the court and, as it has been revealed a dirty snake, would vote to destroy healthcare of all types. Obamacare and its pre existing coverage alone saves 40,000 lives a year. Republicans like Cruz and Kavanaugh will kill millions with their policies and power. Yet, like psychopaths, they insist their opposition act kind at all times. **** THAT! Don't fall for it. Don't be nice in the face of evil. Getting vocal whenever you cross paths with Republicans is the start of a liberal revolution. And it is catchy. That is why psychopaths and republicans demand decorum. You Don't see them demand it of their base.

I am against violence. But please don't insist i be polite to republican leaders. Trump is the one who could not make himself call out the violent Nazis in Charlottesville.

Oh, a politician came out against free speech and property rights?

Big surprise there.

Supreme Confusion:
BRET STEPHENS: Because he’s like a serpent covered in Vaseline. Because he treats the American people like two-bit suckers in 10-gallon hats. Because he sucks up to the guy who insulted his wife — by retweet, no less. Because of his phony piety and even phonier principles. Because I see him as the spiritual love child of the 1980s televangelist Jimmy Swaggart and Jack Nicholson’s character in “The Shining.” Because his ethics are purely situational. Because he makes Donald Trump look like a human being by comparison. Because “New York values.” Because his fellow politicians detest him, and that’s just among Republicans. Because he never got over being the smartest kid in eighth grade. Because he’s conniving enough to try to put one over you, but not perceptive enough to realize that you see right through him. Because he’s the type of man who would sell his family into slavery if that’s what it took to get elected. And that he would use said slavery as a sob story to get himself re-elected.
Otherwise, you might say I’m his No. 1 fan.

Cruz Won’t Commit to Serving Out Senate Term

September 27, 2018 at 8:32 am EDT By Taegan Goddard 29 Comments

Beto O’Rourke (D) pledged in an interview with the Texas Tribune “to serving out the full six-year term in the Senate if elected, pushing down buzz that he might make a run at the White House in 2020.”

Sen. Ted Cruz (R) did not quite say the same. His reply, which went on for two minutes but did not answer the question, concluded with, “We should be standing up for who we are as Texans and Americans.”

And ? Should sitting Senators be barred from running for President?
