Would have some credibility if you weren't the guy who spent 4 years saying Obama would not be re-elected.
You joined this forum in 2017, BHO left long before you joined. Poseur (Analfloss).

Unfortunately we have a brow beaten population who puts more stock in P.C. and couthness than in smarts, talent and the ability to do a job! Just look at Justin, he's such a nice polite boy with nice hair. :) :) :)

with due respect.......what is wrong with good manners, politeness, and a degree of political correctness??

Would rather that.......than crude, boorish, nasty . unintelligent and totally unsophisticated conduct in ANYONE.........let alone a leader. that is to be an example for a population. What is wrong with a degree of dignity ?? and basic courtesy?? You know basic good speaking manners??

But then America has never been sophisticated .......so it might be too much to ask for. Talking tough and crude is their style. Trump personifies that. Tact and diplomacy does not even factor in anymore.

That does not mean one has to mimic that behavior........ unless one likes it and admires it in their leaders.

Personally I would rather have the class and sophistication of the French leader as well as the German one.........and yes...... Trudeau too.

but each to his own.

Personally I am stunned just how low the US social standards have fallen. They were not that high to begin with.;-) Not many (in reality ) outside the US are impressed with what they see and hear .. We won't even touch the lack of real intelligence in the upper echelons of the US gov.

Not a thing. It seems that a lot of people think they are an indication of qualifications to do with traits like intelligence and ability!

So OB, you think President Trump and Americans generally are boorish? Give your head a shake. You obviously haven't traveled. How dare you pass judgment on them?

About you, most would say that your ignorance of the world is astounding. I would agree.

You have never spent any time in the Middle East, the Far East or Continental Europe. You have no concept of how the world functions.

Fair, polite and civilized rarely happen anywhere on earth. You are precisely the type that Kim Jong Un, Putin, and ME leaders want to deal with. Your facile view of politics would get everyone killed.

Go have a tea.

Or a nap.

BREAKING NEWS

A House committee voted to release the Democratic rebuttal to the Nunes memo. President Trump has five days to decide to block it or not.

Monday, February 5, 2018 6:27 PM EST

A decision from Mr. Trump to stop it could lead to an ugly standoff between the president, his top law enforcement and intelligence advisers and Democrats on Capitol Hill.

Will he or won't he?? After all he has declared himself exonerated.. like a good little pompous autocratic dotard.

OK, but the top image is from Avengers 2 and much of the story revolves around the blowback from the Avengers 'well-intentioned' attempts to police the world. The Avengers are the bad guys in the sense that they create a problem and cause massive destruction and loss of life trying to fix it. It's obviously allegorical of US foreign policy.

BREAKING NEWS

President Trump's lawyers want him to refuse any interview request in the Russia investigation, which could set up a prolonged court fight

Monday, February 5, 2018 8:15 PM EST

Mr. Trump’s lawyers are concerned that the president, who has a history of making false statements and contradicting himself, could be charged with lying to investigators. Their stance puts them at odds with Mr. Trump, who has said publicly and privately that he is eager to speak with the special counsel, Robert S. Mueller III.

Gotta wonder about a leader that needs to be protected from himself. Gotta REALLY wonder about the ones that so avidly support him. Just sayin' ;-)

"The President declines to answer any questions on the grounds that anything he says might tend to draw attention to the fact that he is a jabbering idiot."

That's nice Cliffy, but it doesn't depict the whole story! Be nice to see some balance!
That is a poor attempt to balance all the Yankee bull shit propaganda about how great they are. They are an evil empire as are all empires. Fortunately for the rest of the world, Trump and the repukians have come along to dismantle the empire.
