Has there been a problem with Trans Mountain 1 that leads you to believe 2 will be worse?
There have been many problems in the past as there will be many problems in the future.

Apparently there is no definitive research into the nature of bitumen spills. It seems prudent to limit this now, with an eye on eliminating it completely in the future if we discover the problem to be too dangerous

What a sack of shit Trudeau is. Pipelines for China! But an eastern flow pipeline? Fugget about it.
This is pretty f*cked when you think about it. Trudeau is going to run roughshod over BC's "social licence" to supply oil to a "basic dictatorship" while not running roughshod on Quebec and Montreal in order to keep importing oil from a theocratic, fascist state that is also the largest exporter and supporter of Islamic terrorism on the planet.

There is no bitumen being piped anywhere. CNOOC and Husky deal in conventional heavy oil.

Why do you avoid facts?

Why don't you know the difference?

The Trans Mountain Pipeline transports crude oil, semi-refined and refined products in a series in the same pipeline. This process is known as “batching.” Think of it as a “batch train,” with one product following another product through the pipeline during a specific time period. It’s like a series of rail cars carrying different products moving in a sequence along the 1,150-kilometre pipeline.

Trans Mountain is the only pipeline in North America that carries both refined product and crude oil in batches.

On any given day, the pipeline is used to move different grades or varieties of petroleum. Products moving next to each other in the pipeline can mix. This mixing – or product interface – is minimized by putting the products in a specific sequence.

No bitumen. Zero. Zilch. Nada. Zip zant diddly squat.

Dumbass. Boomer is for it and oil isn't from dinosaurs.

As for the keepers of the earth that Cliff says are anti-oil...

Community & Economic Development
White Bear Oil and Gas is just one of the major developments to aid in the area of economic development. The oil production is said to be around the 1,700 barrels per day mark. Plans were made to drill 40 new wells in the past year. The priorities of White Bear Oil & Gas are to help their community development, protecting the environment and respecting Aboriginal traditions.

The success in the oil industry is said to be credited to a unique agreement signed with Tri Link Resources Ltd., a Calgary based oil company. This agreement allows Tri Link to drill for oil on the reserve and enables WBOG to take part in the oil production by sharing in the costs and profits and benefitting from the employment opportunities and economic spinoffs.

On Trans Mountain 1? Did you know they rail it to the B.C. terminal as well? which is better in your mind?

They have all kinds of spill studies on raw and diluted heavy bitumen oil, pipeline and oil companies have to have an ERP and cleanup protocol in place before any of it can be transported, same as refined product.

Mother nature played a cruel joke on tree huggers when she spilled this heavy oil all over Ft Mac. and hid it under a bunch of vegetation before wildcatters followed up on native stories of oil laying on top of the ground.
