Capitalism is the better system also we need to stamp out "crony capitalism" for sure. But it beats communism, fascism and socialism as can be seen in the past. Capitalism may not be perfect but it's the best we have. Until human nature changes, until we can eliminate greed on one hand and laziness on the other, none of the other systems will work. They go against human nature as it is now. Capitalism is the only system we currently have that can raise the poor to middle class and higher. None of the other systems allow for and reward hard work and ingenuity.
I personally prefer what we have now - my family came from nothing - grew up in shacks with dirt floors and now, through hard work alone (my grandparents or my parents did not go beyond the 7th grade) they eventually became reasonably comfortable and gave their children the opportunity to get an education and make something of their lives and THEY reap the reward - not some corrupt government and other people who couldn't be bothered to help themselves. Why would they when others who work hard must share? Why would anyone work hard only to have to give up what they've earned to someone who couldn't be bothered? DUH!
