With pressure mounting from various sides now his lawyer come sup with:

The Fix: Trump’s lawyer says a president can’t technically obstruct justice. Experts say that’s fanciful.

Fanciful indeed. His lawyers are as unethical as Trump

the "legal " twists and turns are just beginning

Trump's tweet conduct is not doing him any favors.

OBSTRUCTION OF JUSTICE case could have been made when he fired Coomey.

there is a credible case against him ..Contempt for the law is anoather big factor.

his lawyer said he was the one who made the tweet - so obviously saying that he knew Flynn lied to the FBI is too damaging for trump.

Then he says that trump can comment on anything he wants without obstructing justice - but the obstruction was firing Comey because he wouldn't back off Flynn - who has now admitted he lied.

Trump is in full wing nut mode.

In the latest news it has been said the pgs may win the next leadership convention for head of the Liberal Party of Canada .
But he may not be available to run .

I wonder if whoever is a mod around here can corral these into one thread.

the collusion with the russians has become de facto
His high priced lawyers are probably working overtime and we can see the direction they are going to "defend" him

POTUS is NOT above the law. Unless he is taking-the country into a dictatorship.

High crimes and misdemeanors. ;-)

there is enough material now for several movies.

As head of the executive branch trump can do quite a few things that you thing he can't.
They are within his constitutional rights as president.

The problem is YOU are uninformed ( stupid even in hoid's case)
look it up ( or get a 5 year old to do it for you in hoid's case)

Sorry, Joy Behar. Two things: First, you're a cretin; Second, Trump's going nowhere. President Donald Trump‘s attorney John Dowd has sided with Harvard Law professor Alan Dershowitz in asserting that, as a matter of constitutional law, a president cannot be guilty of the crime of obstruction of justice, even though such a claim might support an impeachment action. Oops.

John Banzhaf writes that even assuming arguendo that the Constitution does not fully protect the president, it is clear than any construction of “obstruction of justice” to include a president ordering – directly or indirectly, and regardless of motive – the discontinuance of a criminal proceeding does at least raise serious constitutional issues.

And Joy Behar's a Boeotian.

Mueller's Got Nada on Flynn Who's a Liar Who'll Be Crushed on Cross-Examination
Lionel the prosecuter explains it for the slow

Of course you could make up your own laws and get mad at trump for not following them...
;)
but that would be kookoo

MF, you have to do better than that. Buy a book by one of the world's raconteurs, and learn how to skillfully respond. You know that sarcastic kind that you'tre lacking.

I thought your living so close to Toronto, in Mississauga, you would have picked up on that biting, big city wit. I guess not.

there is a parallel investigation in the senate. it will probably be the senate inquiry that removes trump if he is to be removed

Interesting that you consider Trump's legal issues and potential issues as "bullshit". Ignoring them, or justifying his conduct will not make them go away.

There is no need to categorize what you disagree with as "hate"

and Yes.....the constitution does give the POUTS a lot of latitude.. THAT does not mean he should abuse it. In a democracy there are checks and balances to prevent abuse of power And it is apparent that the Trump regime is pushing the boundaries and testing the limits of the system.

Ah, but it is hate, OB. Virtually every thread you start is an anti-Trump thread. You block people who disagree with you. You call the President childish names. You spur on people like avro because of your single minded hate.

WRT any legal issues and conduct, there is a system is place to deal with this. Mueller is part of, but not the only individual or agency who keeps watch on things. But let's be clear: His mandate is not to go after Trump. It is to find out if there was any interference by the Russians in the presidential election.

You fail to understand that while Mueller may indeed investigate President Trump, he will also be investigating anyone who his office deems of interest. It is not a Trump pile on, as much as you want it to be.

What you do is childish and hateful. Like a ten year old.

Learn to discuss the issues like a grown up. Line up your facts. Organize your arguments. Sound like you understand what is being talked about. You do none of this and that is the reason few, except the rabble rousers, pay you any mind.

Funny how truth is, somehow, "hate".

Hey Murph - do you feel that way about all the anti-Trudeau hate threads?

Should they merge all of them? Ditto for the anti-Obama and anti-Hillary threads, right?
