I hate those. An apology has four elements. They don't all need to be spoken, but they need to be intended:

1. An acknowledgement that what you did was wrong.
2. An expression of sincere regret for having done wrong.
3. A commitment to not do wrong (at least in the same way) again.
4. An offer to try to make up for what you done wrong.

If it ain't got those, it's just a mouth-fart.

Reagan hasn't been POTUS for over 25 years. The equipment and ammo he gave these Arabs would be pretty old and all of the Arabs he gave them to would be pretty old, too. The equipment ISIS is using now was left there by BHO.

...and you figure creating a dependency then walking away didn't raise some resentment?

I have to wonder if Rae's "hypocrisy" isn't so much about the cut 'n' paste as it is about owning up to the error - something the arrogant would NEVER do (unless forced at gunpoint)
