How much gasoline can be made from one barrel of oil?

I tried looking it up on Wikipedia, but I couldn't find it.

I think not

It would then seem to follow,

that if the price of a barrel of crude goes up by 5 dollars, and we get about twenty gallons of gasoline from every barrel of oil, the price of a gallon of gasoline should go up by roughly one twentieth of that. Since the oil companies are making record profits, and the price of a litre of gas is going up so fast it's hard to keep track of it, we are getting screwed.
