San Francisco develops pee-proof walls

Public urinators in San Francisco have been warned: The walls aren't going to take it anymore.
Fed up with pressure washing popular pissing spots — to the tune of $2 million a year — the city has covered walls in ten different locations with pee-repellent paint.
The special paint shoots the urine right back at its source — hopefully all over his pants and shoes.
The spots feature signs that read: "Hold it! This wall is not a public restroom. Please respect San Francisco and seek relief in an appropriate place."
"Watch your shoes over there, brother," Public Works director Mohammed Nuru said as he sprayed water from a plastic bottle against a pee-proof wall in a demonstration for reporters this week. The liquid splashed right back, soaking the bottom of his pants, SF Gate reports.
The city plans to paint more walls throughout the city.
Nuru told SF GATE that San Francisco got the idea from Hamburg, Germany, which successfully used the paint to deter beer drinkers who would let it rip wherever they felt like it.
