Pill gives chocolate scent to festive farts

Just in time for Christmas, a French inventor has come up with a pill to give those festive farts a more pleasant fragrance.
Frenchman Christian Poincheval, 65, told the U.K. Telegraph that he came up with the idea for his pills -- made from all natural ingredients -- after a big meal with friends and the ensuing butt blasts.
"Our farts were so smelly we were nearly suffocated. Something had to be done," he told the Telegraph.
Poincheval has developed a pill that gives a rose scent to flatulence and this year he's passing on a Christmas theme to his product -- the Father Christmas fart pill that gives that embarrassing wind the smell of chocolate.
Poincheval isn't shy about tooting his own horn over the success of his product, telling the Telegraph, "I have all sorts of customers.
"Some buy them because they have problems with flatulence and some buy them as a joke to send to their friends."
And sales are brisk at Christmas, he said.
