Our Gala apple tree has died

We put the tree in about five years ago. We had fruit on the tree last year and the year before that.
I was out looking at it yesterday and the branches are brittle and dry. Our other apple tree is
a Spartan and it already has been in bloom. I think my favorite apple is a Gala. Sorry to lose it.

I'm sorry to hear that,juan. I suggest you take it down, dry the wood real good, and burn it on cool evenings. Nothing makes as sweet a fire as applewood, and it'll bring good memories of your friend.
