SAINTE-CROIX, Que. - The Quebec police say there is a family link between two murder scenes near Quebec City where a girl, 13, and two adults have been found dead, and another adult and child are in hospital in critical condition.
At 8:45 p.m. Saturday, police found two bodies at a home in Sainte-Croix, Que. They were identified as Benoit Daigle, 39, and Nancy Samson, 44, who were married.
In 2010, a Facebook page attributed to Daigle was created to denounce accusations of sexual abuse brought by two children.
Around 12:30 a.m. Sunday, police were called to a home in Saint-Isidore, Que., about 30 minutes south of Quebec City. There they discovered Medora Godin, 13, who was pronounced dead at the scene. Two others were found also at the scene -- Medora's sister Beatrice, 11, and the girls' father Martin Godin, 54. Both were taken to hospital and are in critical condition.
Samson is the mother of the two girls and ex wife of Martin Godin.
“The bodies showed signs of trauma,” police spokesperson Richard Gagne said. Sources have told QMI Agency that the victims suffered gunshot wounds.

SAINTE-CROIX-DE-LOTBINIERE, Que. — Quebec police announced Wednesday that an 11-year-old girl injured during a suspected multiple murder/attempted suicide over the weekend died Tuesday night.
Beatrice Godin was found Saturday in critical condition at her family's Saint-Isidore home, south of Quebec City. Her sister, Medora, 13, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The prime suspect in the case, the girls' father Martin Godin, 54, is still in hospital in critical but stable condition after what police suspect was a suicide attempt.
Earlier Saturday, police found the bodies of the girls' mother, Nancy Samson, 44, and her new boyfriend Benoit Daigle, 39, outside a house 66 km away in Sainte-Croix-de-Lotbiniere.
Sources say investigators suspect Martin Godin was unable to accept the breakup with Samson.
